My ride was already waiting outside. ***** Sitting in my room engrossed in the book I am reading. After the visit to Sarah's house, I got home and no one was home as usual. My parents are very busy people. My dad owned various oil companies in Different countries and of course had to travel from time to time. My mum is a businesswoman. She travelled a lot too. Hopefully, she'd be around tomorrow. Deciding that the book was starting to bore me. I opened the I*******m app and started scrolling through the posts.

We traveled far and wide, meeting inspiring individuals who shared their stories of resilience and triumph. Every success story we encountered, every life touched by our efforts, reaffirmed our belief in the power of unity and compassion. We celebrated the small victories—the student who received a scholarship to a prestigious university, the entrepreneur who turned their passion into a thriving business, the artist whose work touched the hearts of millions.

Then, with a clear voice, I spoke out some lines, “if there is a story to be told, why should I not be the one to tell it? Do we all not have that choice to tell our own tales?” With another soundless breath of air, I changed the tone of my voice to mimic a different person, saying, “you always do this, brother! You let yourself think everything will be fine if only you can make it to a certain place or do a certain thing, but life is never that simple! You go into those woods and you won’t come back out again! The legends-” I cut myself off, changing my voice back to the previous one, my tone annoyed as I say, “I’m aware. I know the song as well as you do.”

“I don’t want to use any overly flamboyant phrases. If you choose me, our lives will not be grand, but merely ordinary. This is why I’ll tell you my story as my declaration to you. “My life, to this point, has been very depressing. My father cheated on my mother when I was in high school, abandoned my mother and I, and left with another woman. My mother couldn’t handle it and chose to commit suicide, so I ended up becoming an orphan. I finished college thanks to my relatives’ sponsorship, and I fell in love with a girl in the same class as me. She was a delicate girl from the city. We loved each other, and we ended up getting married. Our marriage started off excellently. I was happy. Howeve

I felt relieved that it was a dream, but that relief was short-lived. My phone rang, and the moment I answered it, my heart dropped. My aunt and my mom got into a car accident since the road was slippery. My aunt survived, but my mom died from blood loss. I was alone. I asked God to kill me, but he decided to do the exact opposite and kill the ones I loved instead. He's cruel. I just wanted everybody to be happy. I was okay with sacrificing myself, and yet, why did this happen? Life is a cruel game, and so is its game master.

Oh How far they came from where they started. They were just kids fighting their wars all alone and then they found each other. They found a purpose to live a better life. They had been through so much together. Life was pain but it was memories too. Beautiful memories. Sad memories. Horrible memories. Every memory assured them that they have really tried their best at everything; at life.

Each volume of Strange short stories will have 3 medium-sized stories and about 10 short stories. To make it easier to understand and more transparent, this chapter will be like a summary for this and the following volumes. Vol.2: medium stories: The antics of Bia's crew ( ABC) Bia comments on a crew of children of criminals, in an invisible ship. In this world full of magic, demonic beasts and restrictions, they live on the run, abandoned by their parents. Not being accepted anywhere in the world they have to survive on small illegal jobs and from time to time to plunder.

He let out the friendliest of smiles, making Anderson very uncomfortable. Anderson stared back and forth between Suit and the scroll. His mind was racing. The contract sounded simple enough. Life had been unfair to me but I was happy they didn't take my novels cause I can't do without them, it calms me down. I usually read them and listen to other people stories their famous, sad, painful story. I got my stories from my first orphanage well, I was friendly to an old woman and she bought me books a lot of books. When I read them, I have hope that one day it will all be over... I really hope so, I also pray a lot to God to change my predicament. Many tragic and painful things have happened to me, I even got raped one of the the days that I was on the street, that day I cried out my heart, I cried till I feel asleep.

You know those stories about unwanted rejects, whose loved ones either died or all abandoned them to drift aimlessly through the world? A worthless no one, almost invisible to other people. Nothing spectacular about them, no grand rise from nothing to something as they dawn into adulthood. Yeah well, that’s kind of my story.
