Until You

Until You

Author's Note: I hope you enjoy my latest novel. This is a story of love and betrayal. I warn you now, it doesn't contain explicit sex scenes. My spelling is NZ spelling, so you will find words spelt differently (s instead of z, u in words like colour). 🌿 Layla's Point of View Happiness, I thought, was what stayed when the noise left. Not fireworks, but settling. Not applause, but the hum that follows when the dishes are done. The kind of quiet that keeps a house stitched together.

Reciprocity

Reciprocity

I leaned down and pressed my forehead against hers. “This life and the next, and it will still never be enough.” Over the years we’d been through so much. There we were, busy with work and children and life. There was no more pain, no more fear, only love and happiness. Forever. The End

His Little Pawn

His Little Pawn

Take your time" The car and mansion despite the ACs were pretty suffocating. I could barely breathe whenever I was in them. Janet nodded and moved away to get me a juice while I stood at the front of the boutique building, my hands wrapped across my chest. The world of billionaires wasn't as amazing as I had always felt. It was suffocating and crushing. I sighted a mother and daughter moving into the boutique at the moment and my shoulders fell. I hadn't been able to speak with my mother since I got married to Lance. I didn't even know how she was doing. I hadn't been able to speak to any of my friends either. Like Rebecca, Becky and Evelyn. I missed them all. I missed when I was poor but ha

A Little Bit of Joy

A Little Bit of Joy

Jerry had helped him a lot already and his own pride refused to beg him to not sell the place, especially when Jerry needed the money for his mother's treatments. He looked through the glass-sheathed walls of the small, colourful flower shop and felt sudden warmth spreading through his chest when he saw Joy smiling brightly at Uncle Desmond. She was handing him the usual lilies packed in brown paper. He could feel himself getting embarrassed when he remembered that this wasn't the first time he had stared at her through the glass. For Joy, their first meeting was when he was about to commit suicide at the bridge, but for him, he had seen her way before that.

Shortlived Happiness

Shortlived Happiness

My father, Hector, and Benjamin had shared the transaction slips of the money they'd transferred to Jennifer's account. I curled my lip mockingly while looking at the birds that flew past my window. It turned out everyone remembered Jennifer's birthday despite forgetting mine. My father, Frank Monroe, shared his transaction slip. He also wrote, "Happy birthday to my darling Jennifer!" Hector wrote, "I hope you'll always be happy, Jennifer!" Benjamin wrote, "No matter what happens in the future, Jennifer Robinson is the only woman I'll ever love."

My Final Happiness

My Final Happiness

"And you, Helen Munoz, do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?" "I do!" Out of the corner of my eye, I saw my mother wiping tears with a smile. Bernard and Sally also gave their heartfelt blessings. "This is great. He finally got the love he deserves." Jack, acting as best man, cheered loudly from below. "Kiss her!" I smiled and kissed the most important person in my life. Later, we had a daughter. With love and career both flourishing, my life finally felt complete.

Seducing The Mafia Lord's Stepbrother

Seducing The Mafia Lord's Stepbrother

AMY POV Happiness, I had come to learn, was not a single feeling. It was a thousand small ones stacked on top of each other until they became too heavy to carry quietly, until they spilled out of you in the form of humming while you brushed your hair, or smiling at strangers for no reason, or crying in the produce aisle because a song came on the radio that reminded you of someone who finally loved you the way you'd always hoped someone would. I cried in a lot of produce aisles those days. I'd given up being embarrassed about it months ago.

The Billionaire's Little Thief

The Billionaire's Little Thief

“What mai—” The words died as I followed her gaze. A plain brown envelope lay beside her boot. My brows snapped together. “Who the hell dropped this?” I muttered, crouching to snatch it up. We never got mail. Not bills, not flyers, nothing. Wrong house, I almost decided until I flipped it over and saw the two words scrawled in precise black ink across the front: To Little Thief. My heart did a sickening flip. Little Thief. Only one person had ever called me that.

Melissa Holtzmann
Pretty good book with MANY ups and downs and new plot twists. Some loose ends never tied up, and a ton of incorrect pronoun usage in sentences or using the wrong character name that can make it hard to follow. Definitely want to see an epilogue to maybe close the loop on some side stories.

I loved the ending, but it was a bit rushed. I was hoping for some extra chapters, a bonus, or an epilogue. Is there going to be a book 2? I don't want to give anything away. But the ending seems incomplete. We need more, please!!!
