It throbbed with a cold sort of pain. On the back of her neck was a snowflake, white and pulsing. As it pulsed snowflakes fell from the sky. She was taking to the clouds and she was going to end this right now. She jumped onto the snowflakes that had become huge and were moving round the battle arena. Their enemy had steel butterflies, chakram, creatures and fire. She had the snow on her side.

Ignis said. "Let them," I replied. "We'll be ready." --- That night, I wrote in my journal. Micah and Cinder retrieved the Heart of Winter. Cinder nearly froze. She'll recover. The Frostfang are coming. We have what they want. We have what they need. The Heart is not a weapon. It's a symbol. Ice can freeze. But it can also preserve. Maybe the Frostfang don't need to burn or freeze. Maybe they need to thaw.

Azure Dragon Elder cast a blizzard spell, snowflakes gushed out of the magic circle and covered the battlefield in snowflakes. This was a tracking spell. He wanted to find the owner of this lightning river hiding within the void. The snowflakes stretched outwards, in increasing its range of search. Azure Dragon was perplexed, no matter how far he spread his search he did not feel any closer to finding his target. He waved his hand, casting another spell. This one was similar, but the snowflakes were smaller and spread out much faster, covering several miles in several seconds. This new spell was also quite ineffective, and the frustration and unease became unbearable.

Unknown As Flameheart stood in the dimly lit room, shadows flickered ominously against the walls, swirling like dark tendrils. Outside, dark clouds began to gather, casting a heavy gloom over Sunshine City. The air crackled with an unsettling energy, and one by one, the people around him fell into a deep slumber, the weight of the impending storm claiming them as its own. Only Flameheart remained awake, his heart racing, sensing that something momentous was about to unfold.
