Iris called from the inside. "Merry Christmas!" Freddie dressed as Santa boomed as the four-year-old Marie rushed at him in excitement. Nora hugged Iris and then Dom as Freddie spun around their daughter and then little Ted pulled at his father's pants, probably jealous of why his father was holding another child, even though the two were best of friends and occasionally acted as siblings. Ted was, after all, only a year older than Marie. The two soon disappeared into the nursery to play with her toys as Nora joined Iris in the kitchen, "I'm so glad you guys decided to spend Christmas here."

"What's so wrong with Christmas, Mr. Scrooge?" I take a swig of my beer, finishing the rest of the bottle, and shrug my shoulders. "There's nothing wrong with Christmas. I just looked at it differently I guess. When I was little, I was a weird kid. All my friends would be so excited for Christmas and they all told me how they stayed up late so that they could meet Santa, but not me. Nope, I stayed awake to try and capture the creep sneaking into my house once a year." As soon as I finish that sentence, a roar of laughter emits from all three of them.

"They can hear you when you talk to them." He liked that, because he could talk all day and all night and then some. He proceeded to squeeze himself in next to Willow and chatted about everything Christmas. From chimneys and sugarplums to Baby Jesus. I'd been told by friends and family that there was nothing quite like having kids his age around the holidays. The word magical was used a couple of times to describe it. I wasn't sure about all of that, but it was fun to watch him enjoy himself, and maybe some of his enthusiasm rubbed off a little, too. I certainly needed it.

~ a few weeks before X-mas~ Billie's POV: I can't believe that in a few short weeks it will be Christmas. The holidays have me thinking about all of the orphaned pups that have joined the packs. None of them have any family left to care for them or see them on the holidays. So with that in mind I emailed the other two packs to bring all of their orphaned pups and childless couples with them today. All of the Alpha's agreed to it very quickly deciding this would be the best Christmas gift to all.

exclaimed Tubby. Erella gently opened her eyes as she heard her little fuzzy friends talking near her ears. She was still a little sleepy, but when she heard Christmas songs, she opened her eyes wide and smiled brightly at her small fuzzy friends. She was happy and pleased since this was a really important day that she had been looking forward to all year. She stood up and smiled at them. "MERRY CHRISTMAS!" She greeted them. But instead of greeting her back, they were looking at her with troubled faces. She frowned at them.

Eliza stands, and holds up her glass of apple juice, “We need to say a big ‘Thank You’ to Merlin, for hosting us, and for decorating everything, it looks amazing. And another ‘thank you’ to ‘Father Christmas’ for all our stockings, I loved my presents, and I think everyone else did too.” Merlin grins and bows his head politely, and everyone else holds up a glass too, “Here’s to Merlin, Father Christmas, and Carlos for feeding us. Can’t forget that.” Carlos chuckles and inclines his three heads too. “Merry Christmas.”

Xienma, Xavier, and Cassie stood in the center of this enchanted realm, their hearts pounding with a mix of excitement and trepidation. Xienma's eyes widened as she took in the sight of the creatures around them. Unicorns grazed peacefully on lush, vibrant grass, their manes shimmering with iridescent hues. Phoenixes soared through the sky, their feathers leaving trails of fire and light. Xienma felt a surge of awe and wonder, her connection to the ancient magic within her growing stronger with each passing moment.

Their unspoken desires, like shimmering stars in the winter sky, danced in silent harmony, carrying the promise of reunion and the timeless enchantment of the season. As Asmo found himself amidst the vibrant tapestry of Christmas cheer, a whimsical thought took root in his mind, unfurling like a mischievous wisp of laughter in the midst of his introspection. Pondering the age-old enigma of Father Christmas, he found himself ensnared in a labyrinth of bemusement, his brow furrowed in mock solemnity as he contemplated the veracity of the jolly old figure who traversed the world in a single night.

He replied as he looked away. " The Christmas Spirit does not entail you believing what your friends believe but it entails believing what you think is right. I never will force you to believe what you don't want to believe but I will tell you a story of a far away land. A land you never thought will ever exist. " A land where magic runs and where snow falls unceasingly. I will tell you how the winter season originated and why this land is so special. It is left for you to believe what you hear because I can never force you to believe what you do not want to believe.
