Then I saw his thin lips curl up from under his black mask. I gasped when he flipped me around, my back colliding with the closed door. He had hitched one of my legs up, his body pressing closer against mine. “Your body says otherwise, little lamb” Prince Darion whispered in my ear, his lips trailing my neck. Fuck! why did my own body betray me?

A lot of questions came into mind but I was finding it difficult to get any substantive answers. Before I could get into the negative, I remembered something vital. “The white wolf is not an ordinary wolf. She glows like the moon in the night and her powers are unmeasurable” I remembered the prophecy many years ago For years I had gone in search of this white wolf to save my people. The white wolf was the only vantage point to destroy the dark forces and stop them from causing any form of trouble. Most especially, one that involves destroying Nexus which I was a protector of.

My real one, white, long, rippling, flowed behind me, trailing like smoke. Below me, the kingdom pulsed. Awake and Peaceful. Above me, the moon shone full and pale, watching like an old friend. I didn’t cry. I didn’t speak. But inside me, something ancient stirred. Something I knew would live long after I was gone. The White Luna was never a gift from the gods. She was born in fire. In betrayal. In war. And she rose for every broken soul who thought they weren’t enough. The wind howled once, like it agreed.

But we kept on watching. Our eyes ran around the little pup's body while examining the body features. It had a small body with winter-white fur. But around the neck and back, purple fur was highlighted within the white coat. It had its two ears raised straight and its tail wagging as it yapped after the butterfly. 'Strange.' I muttered. 'What is?' Blue asked. 'That thing doesn't have a scent.' I pointed out. Blue was silent for a while as he kept a few steps toward the pup. Blue and I shared the same thought. That pup wasn't anyone from the Blue Crystal Pack as we tried to scent it. What was more alarming was how it DIDN'T have a scent!

Her voice was as faint as ever but Violet was still able to hear her. “When will I get to see you Purple?” Violet asked with high hopes to see her mate, it has been days and she was not able to shift as most lycans did. “I am still weak and unable to change to my true form, I am sorry that I am not always there to protect you but I can feel everything that you feel. Just give me some time and I will be back to my true self” Purple pleaded with her. Violet had had high hopes of meeting her on her 20th birthday but she was too weak to change and could only communicate with her and feel her.
