Latisha and Cherilyn covered their mouths and laughed, waiting to see a good show. They did not dare to oppose Mrs. Handerson, but Tyler was different. Tyler was the grandson of the Handerson Family. Mrs. Handerson never could bring herself to say a word out loud to him, she doted on him.

I tried to shove him away as he was too far close for my comfort zone but he didn't even flinch. But what did I expect, he stood like a wall. "And what made you think I'll give in to you?" I ask, mostly in a whisper. He let's out a smirk and moves away. Finally. "Now I see you have a dirty mind as well, cute and sexy" he says and laughs. Huh! What does he mean?. "But that's not what I meant my little kitten" he adds. And how dare he call me little kitten. "I want you to babysit my child" he utters.

The breath is knocked out of me, immediately followed by his warm scent as he crowds me in. His eyes are livid, yet his voice dangerously soft, “What did you call me?” “Let go of my hair.” I wince. He pulls tighter, enough to cause massive discomfort but not enough to cause actual pain. As he towers several feet above me, my neck is craned high to meet his face. “You're like a feral animal, Dymond.” He seethes. “Small, mouthy, cunning. But I'll tame you, give you the training you so desperately need and make you my fucking pet. Wouldn't that be an upgrade from your dirty life on the streets?”

It was a clear indicator that he was approaching me and the silver-barred cage they had imprisoned me in. “Time for another dose, Little Miss Wolf,” the man drawled tauntingly. A moan was all I could offer in response. How fucking pathetic of me. It was truly impossible for me to go down and die on this hill in a blazing fight with my dignity and courage intact. I was already far too broken for any daring heroics the Warrior and once Peacemaker in me was capable of doing. “Come on, beautiful,” he urged. “Have one more dose. I’m sure your beloved tyrant of a mate would love to see you die a painfully slow death.”

I enjoyed the feeling of his body going limp in my arms, tossing it aside after. "Tyler!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. He ran into the room, his eyes assessing the situation. "Clean up this mess! Let the critters eat his body far enough away from here that we won't smell his decaying body." I kicked the worthless wolf's body and walked out of my office.

It's a small human child. He has an idea and puts it into practice. He shifts back out of the girl's eyes, and puts on some pants and t-shirts that were hanging out on the clothesline. Slowly, and taking Venom with him, he approaches the window and says softly. - Hi, what's your name? . My name is Scarlet. - What a beautiful name you have. The girl smiled. - That puppy's yours - she says, pointing to Venom, who growls. "puppy? I'm not a puppy. I'm a big wolf, not a dog, stupid human."

Suddenly my vision goes hazy and the room starts to spin, I lose control of everything but manage to let three words pass my lips before I blackout, three words that I don't understand but speak anyway, as my world turns dark, they slip from my mouth before the blackness takes over. "My little wolf!"
