Seven Days
Still holding to my hope, eyes were closed tightly, afraid of accepting the reality.
"Please, come out. I'll be waiting 'til ten." My grip from the key tighten as well, but it's not as tight as how I am holding to my hope now.
Four, five, six. I'm starting to lose my grip on the hope I am saying. Seven, eight, nine. Although, I already sound like giving up earlier, my hope got bigger as I am hoping that maybe you will come out at the last number.
"Ten." I give up. There's no you anymore and will never be. It's just myself giving such false hope.
