Valek raised one brow, and then shook his head. “I have every right to be here, my sister is missing, aside that you're her mate it's my responsibility to remind you of your job since you've forgotten what it is.” Valek was slowly getting on my nerves and I was losing my temper. I exhaled and at that moment I couldn't take his excuse anymore. “You're not the only one who's sister got missing, and you won't certainly be the last. Go your way and I will do whatever I can to find her.”

Sister was standing about thirty feet away from me, doing the same as me. "Sister!" I shouted, "We have to knock those people down in one go!" "I agree!" Sister called out loudly, "Come and grab my hand!" I moved slowly, passing Samil's soldiers until I could reach Sister's hand. "Let's put them all into a coma," I told her while cumulating more magic in my veins. "You and your moral values… Do you think they deserve to live?" Sister chuckled evilly. "I am not going to kill them! They do not even know what they are fighting for!" I hissed angrily.

It was simple, something my sister had designed to her tastes during her time as alpha. "I haven't gotten the chance to change anything yet," I admitted. "I noticed, it doesn't have your touch to it," she edged deeper into the room and wrung her fingers, "so, what's the job of a Luna? I should have asked this sooner but it only hit me that I probably have duties to uphold when your beta greeted me the way he did."

I gave him a small smile of thanks and followed Lari out, and we headed down the street to our parent’s home. Everyone we passed gave Lari a small bow of respect, and she was so used to it by now she just kept on chatting about how excited Mom and Dad were going to be. I couldn’t help but smile as my sister is the Luna of one of the two biggest packs in North America. And now I am the Gamma female of the pack. I will need to ask about my duties as such. I heard one of them is I am Gamma to the Luna, which happens to be my sister. I have no problem with that job.

He was taking the news of Alisia's running away from their home more harder than one would think he should have. "Don't say that, Adrian. You don't deserve bad things just because your sister ran away from home." I consoled. "I do, and that is the truth. My sister would be at home right now, in her room, if I had been a good and capable brother. It is my duty to protect and watch over her, Dannie. Tell me what kind of brother it makes me for my sister to run away from home?" he argued. "But it was no fault of yours that she ran away, Adrian. It was Alisia's decision to run away from the house. For whatever reason that she wanted, she did it. It is not your fault." I said.

"No need to help your sister, Dave. She's good enough to handle your businesses. She made your parents proud and she's a good example of being a boss." Dave shrugged his shoulder. "Yeah, that sounds great for her. I am proud to be his brother yet..." He paused and sighed, deeply. "I was a jerk who left her the responsibility. That should be me, who will be tired all day and that should be me, exhausting from work and papers." Harvey tapped his shoulder. "The least you can do to help your sister is to stay by her side. She was tough and brave enough to face the challenges of your company." He informed his friend. "And every battle she takes, she wins and never lose hope."

My sister can't even hurt a fly? "You will be surprised to find out that your sister is capable of killing someone," Sin replies looking me dead in the eyes. Sin's words shock me even more. My heart pounds so hard it feels like it could break through my chest. I pull away from him, feeling suddenly cold despite his closeness. "Why would you say that?" My voice is barely a whisper, tinged with hurt and disbelief. He sighs heavily and runs a hand through his hair, a sign that he is struggling with what to say next. "Mae, I was the one who ordered the arrest."

I cannot seem to understand how it's this could happen…if my sister is dead; do I have to remain at this position forever? I cannot believe that she is no longer here. I've been waiting for her but she was never going to come back. I've been hoping that I would see her. I've been waiting for to hear her voice, I've been waiting for anything that would show me that she was still here. Fey is no longer in this world. I can’t believe that my sister is dead. I will not see her any longer. I can't even begin to understand how to control myself. How can I make sure that my heart is ready to accept this?

Arya: 3 years later, The chiming of the doorbell makes me sigh in relief, grabbing my purse from the kitchen counter, I dash towards the door, flinging it open to reveal my older sister, Samantha. “Thank goodness you are here; the babysitter cancelling at the last minute had me almost crying.” I tell her as she steps into the room. “I have a night shift, and I can never resist spending time with my favorite niece.” My older sister, Samantha works as a chief doctor in a hospital near Manhattan.

She softly says. I sigh. “It’s okay.” I say with a small smile. “Just don’t let that happen again.” >>> When we get back home, I go upstairs to my room, leaving Halsey to my mom. My phone starts vibrating. Dean: I’m sorry about your sister. Me: Why are you talking to me? It’s not like she’s dead. Dean: It seems like you’re always pushing me away, even when I try to help. Me: Maybe because I don’t need your help.
