Sarah's POV When I opened my eyes, I saw a pure white ceiling. Where was I? Was I dead? Pain shot through my entire body, making me cry out. "Don't move." A gentle voice spoke as a warm hand carefully pressed against me. "Take it easy. Stay still, or you'll reopen your wounds." I looked up in surprise to see a man in a white coat standing by my window, watching me with concern. Looking around at the hospital bed and IV drip, I realized I must be in a hospital.

The agony swallowed everything else, and a bloodcurdling scream tore out of me, my voice ringing through the empty warehouse. Even so, not one person spared me a shred of mercy. Blow after blow, I became nothing but a mangled, blood-smeared heap, until the agony burned itself down to numbness. I had no idea how long it went on. The bodyguards didn't stop until I was barely breathing. In that moment, Andrew stared at me like I was his mortal enemy, as if I had committed the unforgivable. Then, he slapped Dmitry a few more times. Hearing the howling, Darryl felt extremely light-hearted and hummed a song as he returned to the lobby. 'Huh?' The Standford family was tied there in the lobby, and they were raging. They knitted their brows when they saw Darryl returning again and alone that time. Old Master Stanford glared at Darryl. "Derrick! What are you doing? Where are the mountain bandits of the Snow Wolf Mountain?" Not knowing why, Old Master Stanford felt that Derrick was rather unusual that day.

Mia still leans on her brother's lap: "Matthew, the time before the age of nine was not easy." Matthew sighed, and reached out to pat her head: "Forget it, the past is not happy." After hours of anxiously waiting for Marcus to arrive, I hear the familiar rapping at my windowsill, and my heart skips a beat before thrumming in excitement. Marcus is here.
