She had the most beautiful and largest smile on her face, I could hear the little giggles that escaped her lips right now. I looked up from my phone when my step mother walked in. She wore a traditional black dress with a white fur jacket. I could feel her eyes burning into my skull. I knew she didn't exactly like me at this point. I honestly don't understand what I did wrong. I didn't know if it's because she doesn't trust me or because I’m dating Jane. I think I have proved myself worthy of her. "You don't deserve her." She said, I looked up from my phone in confusion.

Olive yelled crying. “Ohhh, Dear stepfather, I will take care of your heritage,” I said sitting on the floor beside Olivia. “What,” She asked, looking at me. “Yes Olivia you are my step-sister,” I said looking into her shocked eyes. “No, it can't be possible,” She said, biting her lips. “It is Olivia, My mother left my father because of him” I yelled, leaving her alone in her house. I lit up a cigarette before calling Joseph. “Hi Stephen,” He said as usual.

I focused my cold gaze to her with a raised brow, the corner of my mouth curved into a smirk. ‘‘Are you sure, mommy?’’ ‘‘Of course, sweetheart!’’ she said, hurrying forward and grabbed my hand. ‘‘We are family, Celestine... Although I’m your stepmother, I can treat you like my own daughter just like how I am treating your sister…’’ What's her drama this time? I couldn't help but chuckle as I wrenched my hand away from her grip. ‘‘I apologize, but I don’t need another mother. I only have one mother and her name is Sandra…’’

he said. "It's ok as you know if God takes something from us then he also gives something in return. I might have taken my mother but he also gave another mother to me" i said. He looked at me confusedly. "If it's possible then i would love to introduce you to Mrs. Laura Paulsen, my stepmother. She didn't gave me birth but she loved me like own child" i said "So you were lucky to have a sweet stepmom instead of a witch kind of stepmom " he said.

The dining room doors flung open and a voice echoed across the room. "Sorry I'm late," he said. A voice I recognized. "Some idiot jumped in front of my car." My heart froze immediately. I slowly turned my head and boom! It was him. The guy from the road. He froze when he saw me. His eyes widened, then narrowed into a dangerous stare. "You?" he whispered, his jaw clenched. Mom smiled nervously. "Cole, this is Liam. Your new stepbrother. I've told you about him, now you finally meet him.” She smiled warmly.

A beauty with brains, she slept through almost anything with a stick, got in fights as somehow she in this perfect body shape, eventually then she was isolated. I, on the other hand, simply didn't give a fuck about people sucking up to me. My stepmother, Sally is a decent Californian woman and childless so she poured her overflowing motherly affection on me. You may call me Missy or mom if you wish. Maybe one day, you can work up to that. I am your stepmother, but I wanted you here to get to know all of us from the day you were born.”

She even nodded which we responded. I heard dad cleared his throat. "So, son, how was she? Is it just fine? Will you accept our relationship?" he asked. I immediately looked at him and think for a second. Who am I not to give them a chance? "She will be now my step mom?" I politely asked. "If that will be just fine with you," "Can I just call her aunt Laura or aunt? I don't really know what should I call her." Dad just plastered a smile after hearing what I said. He knows that it's just fine with me.

I yelled, and the little hint of playfulness in his eyes was now gone, leaving only an eerie smile and looks that could probably kill me in a second. “I don’t belong to you, not anymore, not when you’ve just drawn the goddamn line about our relationship, about us. You’re my stepfather, that’s what you are. Also, the person who’s hurting me with every passing second of my life which I gladly want to end, if that would take away all this pain.” I deadpan, sizing him up.
