I never saw that specie as people I could trust, except for my brother of course. I was never the type to let down my guard by falling for a guy. Not again! Not after what happened twelve years ago. The books read most often are not any sort of novels or fiction at all, but rather, a set of books on astronomy and cosmology. The room was small with books taking up most of the spaces, leaving a very small space for people to sit. Red mask went to the seat behind the table and nodded for us to seat opposite him. Reluctantly, Craig pulled me to the seat beside him. Yet, I couldn’t help but stare at the strange pictures all over the room. There were like thousands of books that I was sure no one would be able to read to finish, no matter how many minutes they spent reading each day. “Where’s the mark?” he said without preamble. He seemed not to be interested in any other thing than the mark.

But nothing seemed to match the symbol on my door. Frustrated, I leaned back in my chair, rubbing my temples. There had to be something here, some clue that I was missing. I glanced at the stack of books beside me, my eyes landing on one that looked older and more worn than the others. Its leather cover was cracked and faded, the title barely legible: *The Mysteries of Silverwood.* I pulled the book closer and opened it carefully. The pages were brittle, the text handwritten in an elegant script. As I flipped through the pages, a passage caught my eye:

I know my mother won't hide it in obvious places like closets, drawers, and such so might as well read this unknown book for this might give me a lot of information more than those holograms and other technologies can give me. Yes, it really is an unknown book for it doesn't have any title written in it. Is it because of how old it is that made the title written in it vanish or was it really made that way? Shaking my head and breaking whatever trance Noah had me under, I turned back to my book, focusing on the first page. The mysteries of life can only be solved by asking questions. Was the first line under Chapter one . I groaned inwardly, fighting back the urge to slap the book on my forehead. Was this a temptation? Why would the book start with that. I tried to make eye contact with the other books but it was too far away. I was sure the other ones wouldn't start with this. Or maybe it's a sign . A sign from the universe to take my chances. A go ahead from the moon goddess. Maybe asking Noah personally wasn't a bad idea. What exactly could go wrong?
