It belongs to multiple genres: supernatural, paranormal, romance, mystery with mature content.

It has never been my goal to impress my sister with anything I do. I scroll through the books in the library until I come to my favourite section, Mystery. I always love the thrill that comes with not knowing what's going to happen next. You can make it more interesting for yourself if you start to wonder what is happening and what will happen. I take a few glances through the books on the shelves and take a book that looks the most interesting out of all the books I saw. 'In the Woods' by Tana French.

I've heard about the sacred book but never seen it and it was nothing like what he said. I arrived home and she wasn't home yet. Cause she actually went out. I waited and when she came back home. I said immediately she entered the living room. "Mom what's it about that book you sent me to give Danny's dad?" she looked at me stunned and said "Why did you sudden ask that? did he mention anything to you about it?" "Uhm..he wasn't at home actually. I'm just curious." I said and she narrowed her eyes saying "I wonder why you didn't ask me that before living. But right now. And besides. You're not that type who is curious over nothing."

"A... used one?" "A romantic mystery," you said, showing her the front. "It's from the seventies, and is about a female detective who gets involved with the man who hires her to investigate his wife's murder. I'm hoping it's got Castle vibes." She broke into a smile, taking the book from you and turning it over in her hands. Then she kissed you again, on her tiptoes. "Has anyone told you that you're the sweetest?" she asked. "Not today," you smiled.

I went to the living room and, as expected, found the pair of underwear I was looking for in his bag. Downstairs, I called my best friend. "Help me look up someone. I have shopping records." I started the car, planning to visit the real estate office to check on property transactions. Suddenly, I felt something sharp poking at me from underneath the seat. I reached down and pulled out a black lace bra. Clearly, it matched the underwear. This car was usually Milton's—since I worked near home, I usually took the subway. This meant their entanglement that night had probably started in this very car.

I can feel a shiver run down my spine as I gulp. Something is weird about the atmosphere... how come everyone suddenly disappears? I slowly swallow the candy that was sitting in my mouth. It was a soft candy, so it didn't hurt my throat. Clenching the handle of my bag tightly, I try to walk as normally as I could master. *Bathump! Bathump!* Calm down... there must be a reasonable explanation why this happened, right? A shadow shape of a person appeared behind me. The more I try to walk faster, the more it follows me. Turning around to the different alleyway, I tried to lose the shadow. Since I wasn't paying attention to where I'm heading, I ended up walking to a dead end.

’ Clara asked. The Colfers looked at each other and shrugged, ‘Mostly, I think,’ John, his dad answered. 'Some of them are first editions, so the books are just there for decoration,’ he said, smiling. ‘So, Clara, my dear, Sebastian said you wanted to talk to us. What is this about?’ his mom pried. ‘Sam, let the girl sit and relax before you interrogate her,’ John scolded his wife.

Lastly, do note that this is not a horror book, but they are traces of horror in it (depending on the readers perspective). Unless the author makes a mistake, the main genre of the book is a mystery, and will only be known, after the book is completed. Thanks for your time, you are now ready to dive into a world of mysteries and thrills.

I don't know why, but I'm really engrossed in reading mystery books especially when I could always figure out who the suspect is before the detective could even tell who it was in the end. I traced my fingers at the leaves of the books that are stored in the bookshelves as I read their titles until I came across a book which made me curious of it's title. It was called Isoria with a fantasy like book cover with golden specks laid across it. I then knew that it's a book I will never regret reading. I was tempted to buy at least two or more books. I saw a lot of books that I want to read, but I don't want to abuse my mom's kindness. I wasn't supposed to be allowed to buy any book right now.

“Five in a series, this is the last book. I write under a pen name because I don’t want anyone to know my real identity.” “Oh.” “Oh,” I repeated with a smile. “What genre is it?” she asked after a while. I hesitated. “Murder Mystery.” She bit her lip. “Have you ever written about us?” “No.” Her eyes darted over my face. “You wanted to.” I nodded. “But it felt wrong to do that because it’s not just my story to tell.” Swallowing, she placed the file down and settled against my chest again. A sigh fell from her lips as her body slowly relaxed against mine.
