In spite of my disoriented state, I couldn’t help but fall in love at the sight of Nicholas’ bathroom interior. All white, like his room. The floors were made of white marble. There was a white ottoman under the white table beside the sink. The white table extended into a cabinet with crystal drawer knobs. There were tall white ceramic vases in the corners that had green plants. The entire left wall was made of mirrors. To the right was a white marble tub that could easily fit two people, beside a glass wall that was covered by white curtains. I was pretty sure that the curtains would open up to the view of the ocean.

It looked so homey and warm but also so modern and mysterious. I looked at the gorgeous asshole, Orion. And he looked like he was having a frustrating conversation with himself. Hopefully, this isn't like one of those things I heard about watching crime documentaries. Like Wild Bill. Maybe he was thinking of a way to Hansel and Gretel me. My intention was to give Isla the spectrum of light, not just the endless void of her chosen darkness. On a makeshift workbench, I laid out the tabletop samples. I got mesmerized in its ambiance while staring. I couldn't help but gape. It had been built out of white marble which seemed to glow in the soft light and there were even plants hanging in the air like delicate silver bells. The hallways curved gracefully around me until they disappeared into some sort of natural cave system, but there wasn't much time for exploring.
