[Mizkeal’s POV] My palms illuminated by the strong concentration of mana. I squinted my eyes to get a clearer view, but the mist was too dense. What kind of mist is this? Except for the sound of tinkling chimes and a very faint ringing of bells in the background, all I could hear in that blinding mist were my own breaths and my roaring heartbeats. I placed my hand over my chest, feeling the erratic heartbeats. I knew she was close, and I also knew all of this was some kind of trap she had set.

It has been a month since I came to this wonderful island, I sleep, go for a walk, eat and continue the same routine. It is very peaceful here and all I could think of is to wander in the forest to see if there is anything that can inspire me to move on from Xavier. lt is funny I still visualize his face and sometimes get flash backs of us making out on our various dates.
