CHAPTER 25 – Flame Twins Rowan sat cross-legged on the floor of Mistara’s chamber, the low glow of enchanted lamps casting soft shadows on the walls. The air smelled faintly of ash and herbs. Mistara knelt across from her, hands hovering above a shallow bronze basin filled with flickering blue-and-gold flames. “Are you sure you want to do this?” Mistara asked, her voice cautious. “Once we enter the flame-memory, there’s no turning back until it’s done. You’ll see what the fire wants you to see.”

My hand tightened instinctively around his as I steadied myself, Then I saw it. A hidden opening. Behind the waterfall. A cave. The sound of rushing water dulled everything else, like the world outside had been cut off. “Do you remember this too?” Arnold asked. I looked at him, confused. Really confused now. “I don’t know what you want me to remember,” I said slowly. “This is my first time here.” And I meant it. There was no flicker. No memory. Nothing. “It’s fine if you don’t,” he said.

I know what I must do I appear in front of Precious, I put my hand on her forehead and I whipped memories she had with me and the other "until the next time we meet, I would always be with you".

A few seconds later, the driver started the engine and we started heading back to the castle. I stared at Sariel's face. I was positive that he was the one who made me enter my deepest hidden memories of the night of the auction. Certainly, he couldn't unnoticed my eyes on him. "Do you want to ask me a question, or are you going to keep staring at me?" he asked, wearing a sly smirk on his face. His words immediately made me flustered, but I figured that it might be the right time to voice my concerns. "When you told me to recall what had happened before the action… was it some kind of your super abilities?" I inquired hesitantly.

Everyone went still. “You mean the Seventh?” Damian asked. “No,” she said. “I mean the first memory. The one none of us remember. The one that made the rest possible.”

I wondered if I should confront him about it but I can’t do that, not in his current state. Still, I found myself, slithering past as many obstacles on my way, following Hector as stealthily as I could until we reached a place that I had never seen before. When Sapphire took me around Mystik, this place wasn’t even part of our little tour and she didn’t even mention it! This was such a big deal because it reminded me of MY PLACE in Redwolf. The place I go to think when I’m having a hard time. The only difference is that this place was a thousand times more beautiful and thrice as big!

My family had to put a stop to the broadcast of my memories. I huddled in a corner, feeling numb about the whole situation, but they struggled to accept reality. Sandra teared up shakily, mumbling in disbelief. Roger gasped heavily, his fists clenched, while Caleb, wearing his heart on his sleeve, punched the table. “I can’t believe Casey is evil! “Where is she?
