Mythical Hunter Novels & Stories

Based on what I have seen and heard over fifty years of watching. The hunters are not wolf. They are not vampire. They are not fae. They are something older. Something that existed before the Moon Goddess blessed our kind. They hunt royal blood. They feed on power. And they have been waiting for the heir to return so they can finally destroy the bloodline forever. I read the words again. Then again. My hands shake. The hunters. I do not know what they are. Not that I’d rule out the former. Not all hunters work for the guild and, therefore, The Mythical Alliance. American hunters, especially, were notorious for not working well with others and disliking the idea of there being ‘good’ supernatural beings. Numerous hunters refused to work with the guild and now TMA because it meant working with the paranormal to protect everyone, including the clueless humans. A noob hunter could easily mess up staking a vamp or could’ve hit his ribs during a fight. “Who are you, and what are you doing in Silverclaw territory?” I demanded, pointing my penlight at his face.

Rain asked before flopping down on one of the chairs. "Hunters are humans or sometimes other supernatural beings like us, " Scarlett started, "Humans were the first ones known as hunters. They used to hunt us and other supernatural beings like us because they were afraid of our power but that changed long ago. Now, hunters include humans, vampires, and even werewolves. "Another one..." Kael didn't take his eyes off the creature. Fire flared up his arms, licking his skin, casting them both in an infernal glow. "A Hunter," he said. "An old world relic. They are going to keep coming until we die. Or I kill the one controlling them..." The Hunter stepped fully into the ruin, each movement boneles, silent. Shadows silthered from its body, reaching for them like tendrils. The air dropped in temperature, and Aria's breath frosted before her lips.

He didn’t want to look at the woman, but damned if he could tear his eyes away from her now. "I'm not going anywhere near your other clan, James. I'm going to look for my grandmother’s killer instead,’ she said as she grabbed her towel and covered herself with it. James studied her smart, beautiful eyes. "Well, unlike the first timeline, nowadays, Hunters are everywhere and there are so many of them. All powerful, hybrids of some kind, more than just feral like-vampire creature. They are powerful and feed from human blood as well."

He looks worried as his thumb rubs over my hand. “With regard to the hunters …” He sighs deeply when I frown. “They are human, but not entirely. They have powers, and it’s their life’s mission to kill all of us. There are different kinds of hunters with different kinds of powers. It’s a lot to explain, but they are dangerous.”

Hunter looked worried and I frowned. “I am not sure if I am hearing you right.” I tilted my head to the other side, feeling utterly confused. “There are supernatural hunters. Humans who believe that anything that isn’t human is a monster and should be killed. This hunter must have gotten word of what happened here all those years ago.” Hunter paced back and forth explaining what he found out about the hunter. We had to inform both councils that a hunter was in our region as the picture became clearer.

“Hunter…” his name escaped from my lips as I watched him step before me, hiding me behind his huge, silvery body. He looked like a battle angel sent by the Moon Goddess. He always arrives at the perfect time. Hunter knew whenever I was in danger. And just like he promised to me before, he would never let anyone hurt me… at least, physically.

Maya's POV "Maya Cross," the tallest one said, his voice cold and professional. "You've been making quite the spectacle of yourself online." "Who are you?" I demanded, backing away. "We're called Hunters," the woman on the left said. She was lean and dangerous-looking, with scars visible on her neck. "We track down supernatural threats and eliminate them before they can harm innocent humans." "I haven't harmed anyone!" "Not yet," the third Hunter agreed. He was stocky and muscular, moving with the confidence of someone trained to kill. "But White Luna bloodlines are inherently unstable. You're a walking time bomb, girl. Better we put you down now before you kill hundreds."
