" I gasped as I looked at her majestic wings that were surrounded by fire. There were two rogues near her burnt to crisp and when the one I was fight tried to run away, she sent a ball of fire and he burnt whole. The smell of burnt meat filled the air as the fire around her died down and she fell unconscious on the ground. Her clothes had been burnt too leaving her exposed naked. I got over my shock then shifted back into my human form and ran over to her." Kaira!" I held her in my hands. Some of the pack warriors had come to see what had happened and one of them threw some sweat pants my way. I wore them and took the blanket we had come with covering her up.I carried her in my arm

"Vermilion Bird?" White Light was shocked to see the blue firebird appear above Long Chen. It was one of the ancient beasts that was very close to fire. If the Phoenix had eternal life and could be reborn from fire, then the Vermilion Bird was a true bird that lived in the fire itself. They were familiar with various types of fire, including hellfire. In fact, the Vermilion Bird's fire was said to be even more powerful than the Phoenix's own fire.

“It didn’t seem like it was THAT serious; but my Goddess the feeling to kill her felt so good, so right, that it was the only thing I wanted. I mean I wanted her death more than air.” “Yes, so for you to forgive changes everything. You are now the ultimate Ulfheonar; and what that means is incredible.” Phoenix all of a sudden got fatigued. “I’m afraid to ask, what does that mean?” “Do you remember how Ulfheonars are created?” “Yeah, ummm the Goddess creates them, scattered them across the globe and gave them their names. Right?” “Correct. Well, now that’s your job; and before you freak out, let me explain. You, Phoenix are the mother of Ulfheonars. That’s doesn’t mean you have to have a doze

he looks at his watch, "- eleven PM?" "I might want to understand what this is, precisely," I signal to the slim animal, and Sebastian's eyes enlarge. "It was in my wardrobe three minutes prior." "I suppose you will undoubtedly see ultimately, with your recently discovered capacities," he shrugs marginally, reclining in his seat. "She is a Phoenix, a phoenix-like animal that ages consistently and is renewed consistently at noon. She and a couple of others clean the house for us." "They aren't slaves, are they?" I go to check out the sad, wrinkly animal with a glare.

She said…I didn’t even held the qualification to wash her clothes for her…. And I had congenital heart disease after all, I was even feebler than a new born baby. She took away my medicine for me and I died from an heart attack. That’s why I feel very sad and depressed when being abandoned… That’s why I feel very disappointed in those people who betrays me… If I can’t live freely, what’s the use of living… So, I decided that I will live myself properly…even if it means destroying the worlds. I will destroy those beasts into thousand pieces who betrayed me and those who abandoned me...” Yu Meng said, her face filled with determination and undisguised resentment flashed through her phoenix-nar

The crowd was awed by the sight as well. “Your princess is a Phoenix. This is how she represents happiness,” Corithias explained. The people were awed by their magnificent Phoenix princess. “If you will excuse us, we have important matters to discuss,” Corithias told them as they went inside with Firait.

"It's a stubborn one.' I took a step, my boots crunched over brittles and dead leaves. I walked further and continued, even while my eyes seemed to linger on the ruins. I wasn't sure were to look but I had chosen to move from here because I thought Phoenix must be attracted somehow to fire, they could burn themselves and be rebirth through their ashes then they wouldn't be scared of fire, would they? If my thoughts were right then they must nest around volcanoes or fire lavaes. But... but legends also said they nested in rarer sanctuaries. Phoenix's we're proud birds and of course would want somewhere rare and befitting of their pride.

A massive phoenix burst into flames, breaking through the roof with a powerful, elongated cry. The overwhelming pressure forced everyone to kneel again, unable to lift their heads. I turned to Ignis and asked, "What is happening?" Ignis, with a smile, replied, "Lucian might be a descendant of the ancient phoenix lineage from the great battle. His phoenix presence had been suppressed previously by an unknown force, but with a bit of divine power, his original form got awakened."

And did it really possess such gifts, immune to small science aka witchcraft and magic, yet too powerful to all creatures of the world? The firebird quickly flashed into my mind. I found myself linking it to the story, creating something so vivid in my mind. The firebird held so much power I could almost feel it with the mere thought of it. But in the story, the Phoenix was a human, not a bird. And that's when I realized I was mad. Because heck, I don't even think there's a bird that burns. I chuckled to myself because it was crazy. But then the golden phoenix, what had happened after Lady Barga died? Was the boy captured by Lilith? Did she kill him?
