Dark Water

Pressing his fingers together as he stared at the dust dancing in the light of lamp like tiny fireflies. Eventually his voice broke the silence, soft and level. "What do the legends say?" Lloyd frowned. There had been many variations and deciding which ones to reveal wasn't easy. He hadn't expected the query, assuming the man himself might know. But why would he? "They varied," Lloyd answered eventually "the most popular was that you had an affair with a woman who was a witch. She cursed you after you spurned her, I guess it's a take on hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Plus, it makes a good novel or movie plot."

I loved this story that I did not want it to end. I would love to see Liera and Aurien's story continue from here although we do see snippets in your other books. I read this book often to remind myself that we all can fight through life's challenges with strength and determination. Thank you
Sarah.
I really loved the book, I wish there were more like it on this app. The characters are charming and the story is beautifully written, the premise makes me want to continue reading the other books. I hope there will be lots more like this one and maybe even longer

Whispers of Sikar

Whispers of Sikar

"A long time ago, before our people settled here in the mountains, the tribe of our ancestors was decimated by a horde of men who came from across the seas to the east, known for their crimson garments that struck fear into the hearts of all who saw them. It was a story our parents told us growing up. Have you really never heard it before?" "No," Adea muttered. "Our parents don't tell us many stories of our people's history." "I heard of a legend that says the other side of those mountains is a realm of the Spirits." Everyone turned their attention to Lyda as she spoke up. "It's said that the mountains cannot be traversed, so there are secret spots throughout these territories that may act a

Mate by Fate, Bound by Love

Mate by Fate, Bound by Love

It was as if I was transversed into another universe as I was clearly hearing what was going on, the words were entering my ears at a faster pace. "The werewolf is a mythological animal and the subject of many stories throughout the universe, which could lead to diverse nightmares, Werewolves are, according to some legends, people who morph into vicious, powerful wolves. Others are a mutant combination of humans and wolves. But all are bloodthirsty beasts who cannot control their lust for killing people and animals. One of the legends states that a fair maiden whose name was - Gilgamesh, jilted a potential lover because she had turned her previous mate into a wolf.

SEALED FATE

SEALED FATE

“The Chronicles of the Thirteenth Moon. That’s not light reading.” “I was curious about the legend of the Carellos,” she replied softly. “They say they could control everyone and also the realm of spirits.” He turned fully now, walking toward her with a measured step. “Most believe them to be myths. Cautionary tales told to children.” “Do you?” she asked before she could stop herself. He paused a few feet away. “I believe all myths are born from truth. Twisted, forgotten… but never without roots.” Seraphine looked down at the book. “You sound like someone who’s seen those truths.”

Lycan Kingdom

This place gets weirder over time, I never understand how this happened. Caesar looked at her proudly and said to her: This place is a world other than yours. Certainly, this place is a magical world that contains all supernatural creatures that do not exist anywhere else. This planet contains many things that you do not know and you will never know about. In this world you are in Now who knows about the existence of humans is only us, i.e. the royal family. As for the rest of the kingdom, you think that humans are just myths and legends that do not exist at all, and they think that the royal family is the one who invented these things and legends about a worl

THE ALPHA'S ADDICTION

THE ALPHA'S ADDICTION

They are often studied by archaeologists and historians to gain a deeper understanding of ancient societies and their way of life. In a broader sense, the term “ancients” can also be used to describe ancient myths, legends, or stories that have been passed down through generations. These ancient tales often involve gods, heroes, and supernatural beings and are often used to convey moral or philosophical lessons. Ancient myths and legends provide a glimpse into the beliefs, values, and cultural practices of ancient civilizations. All he could draw from that now, was Ancients were old beings. But Freya was anything but old. He wondered, frustration ringing his t

THE CURSE OF LUST

THE CURSE OF LUST

Nothing was tidy. Ashford's voice drew me back. "And while we examine these events, consider the stories whispered alongside history—legends that grew in the shadow of war. Accounts of spectral soldiers, creatures that struck fear in the night, even rumours of vampires and lycanthropes in the borderlands. Some claim myth arose to explain horrors that cannot be rationalised; others insist the world is wider, stranger, than history alone can tell." My fingers tightened around the pen. Centuries of lived experience, of watching humans grasp at shadows while the truth prowled beneath, stirred in my chest.

The Alpha King's Breeder

Ryatt asks. “Hell,” he answers honestly. “If they’re still out there, if the legends passed through millennia weren’t correct, and they didn’t ascend to the heavens after all like the gods they were rumored to be, but were simply displaced… hell. They’re powerful creatures. Hard to kill. In the legends, they are the gods, so their will was law.”

is someone stealing your books. I red a story almost identical to this a few weeks ago but I can't remember the name of it. The girl was running from a bad pack though and ran into the alpha who offered a proposal to her to be his breeder for protection. Everything else is identical

These books have been my lifeline. I am crushed to reach this point and have to leave this beautifully tragic world and all its perfectly flawed characters. I can't wait for the next update, and honestly hope (though I know it is in vain) we get to follow this family tree for even more generations.

The Alpha & The Harpy

The Alpha & The Harpy

She asked, encouragingly of him, "...sooo, tell me, professor Mourhollow… if the harpies all whisper about werewolves as monsters, why do I sense you don't agree?" Sheepish and shy as ever, Corvin's mouth curved in that faint and knowing way of his. "Simple, really. That's because all myths and legends are true, but so often they come from misunderstandings. You know how court mothers frighten their fledglings with tales of werewolves gone mad, tearing through villages?"
