Myth Stories Novels & Stories

'Myths are different than fairy tales or legends. Legends are stories based in history and are more or less true. Myths, on the other hand, are stories containing a deeper truth—stories that transcend time. If you were to travel the world, you would find myths that are remarkably similar to one another—stories of heroes fighting the darkness with the light.' ❤❤❤❤ ☀️MY RAE OF LIGHT (Part Two) ☀️ ❤❤❤❤

Every time it was her father’s turn to tell her bedtime stories, he would always tell her the stories of the myths or legends of folklore, which she always enjoyed. Her father said that once upon a time, there was a tribe called the Marinaya tribe. Marinaya tribe comes from the name of the Goddess of Moon that the tribe worshiped. In the Marinaya tribe, there were different groups – the royalties or the family of the tribe leaders, the warriors, the manggagaway (or the sorcerer, or wizard), and the servants.

It’s really uncomfortable to try to sleep when someone is doing a samba in your uterus. Rose shrugged. “There’s a lot like that because then you get the Cinderella stories, the knights in shining armor stories, and the healing stories.” “What’s wrong with a good Cinderella story?” Heather asked. “I adore them, and almost every culture has one or two that have been printed as beautiful children’s books.” “Nothing is wrong with a good Cinderella story,” Rose started. I interrupted her. “Except when the prince turns out to be a giant dick, but she can’t escape him because he’s the most powerful alpha and they’re fated mates.”

Amid my struggles, I heard the scrunch of snow somewhere behind me. My entire being froze with the amount of possibilities that it could be the slender man. I was sweating, but my body was cold. All the hairs on my arms and back stood up as I trembled in fear of what’s coming next. I could hear it slowly drag every other step as it approached me. An image of a bloody lady wearing a shredded white dress walking while dragging her chained leg popped into my head. ‘Damn those scary stories told in my school!’

I muttered gulping in air. "Well, what happened with you!!" The guy who had helped me asked. "I can't really say but a beast attacked me while I was foraging for food" I replied hoping they bought my lie. "A beast??? What do you mean by a beast??" Someone asked amongst the others. "According to ancient myths, there lives a beast in the deepest part of the forest, they are called the RAGUS. It's just a myth and no one has ever come across it" A girl in glasses explained.

I furiously denied them, not wanting to believe his words. “Hehe…” he chuckled before walking out of the bar and towards the large couches that were situated at the center of the lounge, “For centuries or more we’ve been in existence. Stories of mythical animals, mythical monsters, and other mythical creatures have been and continued to spread across the world through books, film, television, and many other media sources. Sometimes, you guys portray us as purely symbolic creatures to offer you a closer look at a particular culture’s fears, desires, or values, while other folk tales about cute mythical creatures are based on human nature—or perhaps simply invented to keep your disobedient chi

'Werewolf Mythology : The love story of Lycaon and Lydia'. "You mean Lycaon, the God of Werewolves and Lydia the Noble one? Why would a mythical story be the hint for your vision, besides their supposed love story is just a myth." "You will have to read their story to understand it. My vision included similar situations mentioned in their story. Maybe it's a mythical story which was supposed to happen in the future?" Joan questions. "You mean someone was predicting the future with this myth of a story?" Jade couldn't come to terms with the fact that Joan would believe in such absurd things.

And right now, she's reading Michael's birthday present to her: Greek Myth and Legend. Feet up, stretched out on the settee in front of the fire, she couldn't look happier.... Well, maybe there's one way.... I nudge up her feet to sit beside her. "Which story are you reading?" "The one about how Heracles wrestled with Achelous and broke off his horn and created the cornucopia.... The horn of plenty." She dimples happily and there's a merry little twinkle in her eye. Is that some kind of hint?

Seeing that she would not give up from siding the night roamer, he decides to tell her a story to compliment her belief. “You know, according to our popular children stories, some believe he is a handsome prince from a far away kingdom made of gold, and enchantment and magic. While others believes he is a demon that haunts evildoers and people of little conscience until they give up their evil ways, or pay for their sins with blood” He narrates, captivating her attention. “Tell me more please?” She pleads with irresistible eyes. “You are in luck, as I am a lover of myth!” he gestures towards a dry piece of log just opposite them.

Asking about it again was like setting herself up for a teasing Kihara cleared her head. Lady Walter was talking. “Humans have their myths and folklores.” Lady Walter was saying. Kihara nodded, smiling as her thoughts caught up to the new topic. Werewolves used to be one of those myths, until they -humans- found out the creatures are not only born of the imagination, they actually existed. “Well, so do werewolves.” At Kihara’s look of surprise, Lady Walter scoffed. “What? You don’t think we have our own stories that we tell our children? Every culture has it’s own boogie man to scare the kids into behaving. We had ours.”
