I'm The Alpha's Mate

I'm The Alpha's Mate

"What are you reading?" Glancing up from the thick pages, I see Sebastian standing in front of me. My mind is so consumed with the stories that I did not notice him come in, which is rare. "This book about myths. Henry told me about it since he found my ability in it." "And what myth are you?" He sits down beside me as I flip back to the page. "It's called The Daughters of the Moon Goddess." I hand him the book, and he looks over the pages. "Some of it is true, but most of it is not."

Mate: Part One

Mate: Part One

"Continue working on your group projects. Presentations are on Friday." Mr. Nelson sat at his desk, and chatter picked up as students formed groups. Riley turned to me. "Ready to dive in, Jane?" "Sure. What are we working on?" "The Great Moon Goddess and the beginning of everything," she said, handing me a textbook. "You can help by reading and noting down any details we haven't covered yet." I took the book and sheet of paper, feeling oddly grateful. The text drew me in - myths of creation, of the first wolves, of bonds that tied souls together. Mom had told me and Sara fragments of these stories when we were younger, before Zander banned them as "nonsense."

The Alpha's Contract Bride

The Alpha's Contract Bride

It was large—larger than I expected—and filled with books that would take me years to finish, even if I read one a day. I was almost confused on where to begin my search because of how massive it was, but then I decided that starting with myths and legends wasn’t a bad idea. The Cursed certainly seemed like it would belong in that section because it looked like something that did crawl out of a myth or a legend that was forgotten. “But the Alpha said I should always be by your side.” She insisted, and I shook my head. “No, the Alpha said you should attend to all my needs, not babysit me. Right now, I don’t have any need for you to attend, so you can leave.” I waved my hand in a shooing motio

Marked by the Alpha: Mated to the cursed twins

Marked by the Alpha: Mated to the cursed twins

Something—anything—that would drown out the him of my beast. My eyes landed on a thick volume about ancient Lycan myths. It had always been a favorite of mine, and it usually worked to quiet the noise in my head. Maybe it could help now. I grabbed the book and dropped into the nearest chair, flipping through the pages. My hands trembled slightly as I turned each page, even as the words blurred together in front of me. I forced myself to focus on the text, reading about the great wars between packs and the legends of the First Alphas.

ELDER'S BLOOD

ELDER'S BLOOD

"I’ve heard of this one—it’s a book of legends." She carries it to the table, placing it down carefully before flipping it open. The pages are thick and rough beneath her fingertips. As she skims through, she reads aloud, "The Tale of the First Shifter, Moon Goddess Parables, The Story of the Night Sky, The True Alpha… This is amazing," she whispers, completely enthralled. "Don’t tell anyone I’m touching this, but I have to read it." "I wonder if any others are unlocked," Serena says, moving to check the cabinet handles. Ben follows her lead.

Reclaiming my Fated Alpha

Reclaiming my Fated Alpha

I know what he is driving at, even though he is reluctant to say it out loud. But the more I think about it, the more absurd it sounds. “So you think the black mist that killed Helen is the same one from the so-called book of Udbhava? Helios…it’s a folklore, a myth that grandparents tell their children on a cold winter’s night for fun and entertainment.” He rubs his chin. “Sometimes, myths come from legends, and legends from history that have long been forgotten.” I have to chuckle. “So I have somehow inherited the black mist that corrupted the world’s first Luna? Helios, this is getting ridiculous –“

Dear readers, There will be no updates next week as I will be editing the free chapters as well as correcting the grammatical and spelling errors throughout the story. Please bear with me as I work on improving 'Reclaiming my Fated Alpha’ to make the story even more enjoyable for you :)

Definitely one of the better books on here. It’s well written with minimal errors. There were so many climaxes and conflicts that could have easily been made into plots of second and third books. Only thing I disliked was that the MC was mostly weak through out the story especially for being a Beta.

Born Rogue

Born Rogue

I decide to start with trying to find what ingredients may have been used in the sedative Clay gave me. The first book I pull off the shelf isn't very helpful. It discusses the different myths about how lycans were created but doesn't talk about any possible weaknesses. Placing the book back on the shelf, I scan the titles next to it: 'Lycan Growth and Maturation', 'The Legend of the Lycan', and 'Lycan magic'. Magic? I've never heard of lycans being able to use magic. My interest peaked, and I pull the book off of the shelf and open to the first chapter. I skim through the text, but soon shut the book, deciding to focus on my first task.

Marriage First, Mate Second

Marriage First, Mate Second

“Yes, yes, let me see what we have here. Ah, there it is.” Stan climbs onto one of the library ladders that extends to the top of the stacks. After looking for a few moments, he pulls out a thick, heavy tome with the title, “Wolves: Myths and Legends” engraved in silver script against the brown leather cover. The pages are edged in gilt. He carefully descends the ladder and gives it to me. “This is what immediately sprang to mind when I got the call from Dr. Tawny. There is a passage in chapter seven that talks about the magic of twins.”

THE ALPHA'S CURSED LUNA

THE ALPHA'S CURSED LUNA

"I have seen that symbol before. In old texts. Very old texts. There is not much written about it, but I know a book that might help." He pulls a thin volume from the highest shelf. Dust rains down. He brushes it off and carries it back to the table. "This is a collection of Northern legends," he says. "Most of them are nonsense. But some of them mention the symbol." He opens the book and flips through the pages. --- I lean closer. Our shoulders almost touch. I catch the scent of him—pine and woodsmoke and something clean. "There," Ronan says. He points to a page. "Look."

Rejected By My Mate, Claimed By The Alpha Twins

It didn’t matter. He just sat beside me. Opened the book. Started reading One evening I asked, "Do you think the baby understands mythology?” “They’re listening.” “They don’t even have eyebrows yet.” “They’re still listening.” I laughed. “So this is your parenting strategy?” “Education.” “It’s legends.” “It’s culture.” “It’s monsters fighting gods.” “It’s monsters.” I shook my head. “You’re unbelievable.” Without missing a sentence he put one hand gently on my stomach. His voice softened.
