I faked a hurt tone and placed a hand over my heart, “Do you not have faith in me, father?”
He wiggled a finger at me, “Oh. Don’t do that.”
Mom and I both laughed. Dad was always a sucker when I questioned his belief in me.
“Do you have a name for the collection?”
“Dominic wanted to use both of our names, so we agreed on ‘The Greene Knight.’ Apparently, it’s some play or something and he thought it would be a cute play on words.”
Mom chuckled, “I don’t think it was adapted into a play, but it is a short story. An old one, at that.”
