The crying continued, but it was quiet, almost whispered. “I want to see... the mark...” she murmured. Kan took a deep breath, glancing away for a second. His expression tensed, not out of annoyance, but from the weight of what it all meant. “You won’t be able to see it. It’s only visible through a wolf’s eyes.”
