"He's so delicate." "No fair!" Guru was pouting as Doll came out with one kit hanging on each paw doing their best chubby walk. They were pristine in their finest Persianic garb and coats and scarves. "How does he do that?" "I'll never tell." The little grey bunny giggled as he let go of the two kits so they could waddle over to Hades.

His dark eyes locked onto mine, hard and unreadable. "You're slacking, Fox," he said, his voice dropping into a low, raspy growl. "Get up. The courtyard needs sweeping before the outer patrol returns." I didn't answer. I dragged myself off the hard wooden floor, forcing my trembling legs to hold my weight. Carrel spoke after Luka pressed the ‘complete task’ on his menu. A screen popped up in front of us and a list of items was displayed. Seeing one item listed, I quickly accepted the items and a baby kitsune appeared. I didn’t pay attention to the gold pieces we earned or anything else. My focus was solely on our new pet. He hunted me.
