Elder Nehra went on his knees, and so did everyone. I think I was still confused about bowing as I looked at the wolf. The wolf had no full form and looked more like a blurry vision. It was there but also not there. Its color was ice blue, but when it turned, it looked white. I had to blink again and stared to make sure I saw it. The wolf moved to me and nuzzled its snout at me. I reached my hand hesitantly to touch the spirit-like wolf form. The moment my hand reached the fur, the wolf disappeared.

Ending up thrashing around the underbrush I was panting heavily at the shift and stood up on my wobbly legs. “I'm going to call Nero now,” Lana informed me in my mind and I told her to go for it. As I adjusted to the strange feeling of being four-legged, I hopped around playfully with her laughing at me being silly. A new scent filled the air and I heard twigs snapping as I turned to see Austin's huge dark brown wolf. Nero’s blue eyes shone in the darkness, and I stepped a few feet back as he stalked closer to my wolf. Bowing her head, Nero rubbed his head against my wolves, and I felt it like he had touched me.
