I just had to turn big eyes on him and he was salivating. Nathan walked in the front door. He was 5’11” and broad shouldered with that grown up boy next door face. His short brown hair was styled to give him an air of refinement in his casual slacks and t-shirt. When he was in uniform, he wore it slicked back. He thought it made him look bad ass. I thought it made him look like Jamie Lee Curtis when she used the water from the flower vase to make herself a little sexier in True Lies. Whereas it worked for her, Nathan wasn’t as lucky.

I needed to buy myself a lot of time or else, I was going to be doomed if he discovers. Bang! I collided with a figure just as I was running, making me fall to the floor. I didn't know if Alpha Kyle had noticed that I was missing or not.

“You would be dying for a good cause, “ he gripped my hand tighter, pulling me closer. “If Nikolas finds out what you’re doing, I will kill you myself.” He let me go, and I instinctively clutched my wrist in pain. He got up from the table after tucking the document I gave him inside the jacket of his coat. “Go on, Antonio. I would like to talk to Viola about women's business.” He left with a huff, leaving me with Mother. “Guess who I saw at the Cartier store the other day?” She asked. Without waiting me to answer, she did it for me, “Aurora Mancini.”

“Thank you for honoring my invitation, Your Highness.” Alpha Kael bowed again, his gaze fixed on me. “And if I may ask, who’s the lady beside you?” I felt Clinton stiffen beside me, but I kept my eyes on Alpha Kael, who was still smiling. With a fake smile plastered on my face, I cooed, “I am Natasha Jones, the King’s distant cousin.” I lied. Alpha Kael hummed, nodding slowly. “You’re welcome to my pack, Lady Natasha.” He bowed dramatically before shifting his attention to Clinton. “Please, have a seat.”

Leonard spoke harshly. "Are you going to support your son?" Gael asked. He was finding it hard to breathe and his heartbeat was off the beat. He was almost suffering from a heart attack. "I will never support that stupid and spoilt brat. If Ashton doesn't come back then I can as well find another pack or I can just become a lone wolf." Leonard said with absolute sincerity. He will never betray Ashton in this lifetime or the next or the next because he knew that he was not just your everyday alpha like Kelly.

"I'm only worried that you'll be unable to stand and end up begging me again." I stared down at my screen. Kate hadn't replied yet. Glancing back through the window, I looked inside. Three years had passed, and Nathan had shed his youthful innocence and gained a casual, roguish edge. He tilted his head as he talked on the phone, looking completely at home. The heating must have been cranked up. Nathan wore nothing but a silk robe with the belt tied loosely around his waist. The collar hung wide open, exposing his collarbone and chest.

"Serena, we need to talk." Nathan stepped forward. "Mr. Prescott, she's my attorney right now." Adrian gave him a cold look. "Shut up." Nathan smiled. "Rattled?" I turned to Nathan. "Mr. Cole, please go." Nathan raised an eyebrow. "Sure?" "Sure." He shrugged. "Fine. I'll wait in the car." I frowned. He immediately corrected himself. "Not waiting. Not waiting. I'm leaving." After Nathan left, Adrian's voice was very low. "Since when are you two so close?"

That was probably true love! Nathan was not a poor man either, he was a major shareholder of Bilinsk International and was the CEO of Clemon Group. Even if he had retired, he was still filthy rich, so the rumor of him being a sugar baby was indeed groundless. The press conference ended successfully.
