Novel & Cerita National Novel Writing Month

I swear that writer's block is a plague that infects all writers. But that's beside the point. The good news is that it looks like I'd be done with this manuscript by the end of the season. I also have to attend a book convention in Quebec, Ontario. It is from the 10th to the 12th of June, and I am very excited. Unfortunately, Vittorio cannot look after Nathanial while I'm gone. So I'm hoping to ask Josephina. Otherwise, I'd have to take Nathanial with me on the trip.

I said, with my voice booming around the walls of the classroom. "You are all to write a novel, the word count should not be less than thirty. Take note. You have a month and few days to finish it all up, no lazinees and no slacking. Just see it as another type of nanowrimo. So by next month ending, I would be expecting ebooks novels in PDF format, all of it should be sent to my email" I turned around swiftly, to scribble my email on the whiteboard. "I will be awarding the overall best of it all. Good day class." I said, dismissing them with a wave of my hand. They all moved out of the clsss with different expressions on their faces.

Elara ------- February arrived the way it always did — grey and indifferent, the city stripped of the drama that winter had promised and delivering instead a flat persistent cold that asked nothing of anyone except endurance. She liked February. It was an honest month. She wrote every day now. Not the reactive journalism of the past six months — the counter-statements and the pre-emptive pieces and the press cycle management. The book. Real work. The kind that required you to sit with something difficult and not reach for the easier version.

The next moment, darkness occupied me completely. To my readers: How time goes by. It has been around two months since I started to provide my writings to you. It just happened naturally and unknowingly. And the total amount of words is about to achieve 50 thousand. It is quite an exciting and important moment for new novel writers. For me, I couldn't write this novel smoothly without your strong support. I do appreciate that you all can accompany with me in this journey together. No Nut November month started on a busy note as more students crammed into the library for studying sessions. The reading program for elementary students meant more people were borrowing books they usually didn’t read to collect stars on their reading cards to exchange some prizes decided for the school. Every novel worthy of the name is like another planet, whether large or small, which has its own laws just as it has its own flora and fauna.
