"My type?" Nico raised an eyebrow, amusement dancing in his dark eyes.
"You know," I gestured vaguely at his expensive clothes, the commanding way he carried himself. "Corporate. Polished."
He laughed then, a genuine sound that softened his features. "You might be surprised," Nico said, rolling up his sleeve to reveal a nasty burn scar on his forearm. "I earned this in a kitchen, not a boardroom."
