Necromancer Arcane Lineage Novels & Stories

Lester has healed enough to move around, but he still has a lot of healing to do. "Joe and Adrian" I call them over to me. I need to link them to our pack. Being direct descendants of the first Lycan, Lisa and I have the ability to push our thoughts into the minds of any wolf without creating a link, but Adrian and Joe will need to be able to link with the others, so I need to link them. "I need to link you two to the pack," I tell them once they are standing in front of me. Joe gives me a nod while Adrian holds his hand out smiling.

Simon grumbled. "That's ok just tell me everything there is" Jace replied a bit anxious. "Well, all the necromancers are dead. Or rather imprisoned by Celeste and her then husband Erebus because he saw them as too great a threat to all the other supernaturals after one necromancer defied him and brought back someone he'd killed to life. Celeste ruled over the supernaturals but had no control over the necromancers because they didn't see her as their leader. They actually worshipped the lord of The Hallow. Someone by the name of Zaewyn" Simon explained. Jace grew impatient because this wasn't the type of information he's searching for.

“Right, how can I worry when I have a doctor with me?“ Benna asked, a deep laughter escaping his lips, and then turning to me, he said, ''You know you came at the right time, Yezus. Casino consession will be in a month, and I really want you to be there beside me. I know you think that I am hurting you, but someday in the future, you'll see that all that I am doing is for your own good.“ My own good? I wanted to spill out that question. How was that for my own good? It was for his own good, for goodness sake! I was just there to show the world that he was an angel. Even though he got rid of my mother and uncle, who were werewolf enemies, he still felt sympathy toward me and took me in with t

And when we did, that was the moment she decided to strike. The night she told me she loved me for the first time was the night she stabbed Saul in the back and ran away with the one thing that could bring not just my downfall but that of the entire kingdom. The blood ring. It’s a magical artifact that can absorb power and give access to the power absorbed. If enough power is absorbed and it falls into the wrong hands, then it could lead to something that would cost the lives of thousands. And we let that b*tch get her hands on it.

"Oh for fuck sake. No. It's not a hybrid otherwise I would have said that it was a hybrid. Fine, I'll be blunt. Some mother fucker ripped various daemons apart and then stuck them together with vile magick long after they were dead. Do you understand now?" A horrified gasp rippled around the room as the Elders hurriedly conferred amongst themselves. "Wait... but that's…" Ann began tentatively, wishing on so many levels that she was wrong, but knowing deep down that she wasn't. "Necromancy. Fleshcraft. Whatever you want to call it." Lexi hissed as she interrupted Ann, "It is the most despicable dark magick that exists. I will say this though. If Narcissa did this, then she is far more dangero

And I was going to fail because of a locked door. Blood magic. The words echoed in my exhausted mind. I looked down at my hands. They were covered in deep, jagged lacerations from the razor-sharp ice. Valerius's ward was forged using necrotic blood magic—the magic of the dead, the magic of rot and stagnation. But my blood was not stagnant. Even with my magical aura suppressed, my DNA was still ancient. My veins still carried the genetic blueprint of the Royal Lycan Line. It was the absolute, biological antithesis of Valerius's

He knew I was not the Lumira whose medical records he had studied. "Dark magic is not native to this body," he said, placing his cards on the table with deliberate precision. Not playing cards. Research notes, thin and precise, covered in diagrams I couldn't read from this distance. "Necromancy at your level requires a soul that has already crossed the threshold. A soul that has died and returned, carrying the imprint of the grave. The original Lumira never died — not truly. She was murdered. There is a difference." He looked at me, and for the first time, his clinical mask cracked. Not with emotion — with hunger. The hunger of a scholar who had found the anomaly he had been searching for.

"You can't learn root craft. You're born with it." "So the archive responds to someone from *that* bloodline." "Yes." "Which means," I said, the words tumbling out slowly, "we need to find someone from this ancient, pre-pack coven bloodline, who's somehow still alive, accessible, and willing to trek into a hidden forest archive right when the political tension between wolves and witches is at its highest in forty years." "Broadly speaking, yes," Lucius confirmed. "Great," I sighed, sinking back into the chair. "Easy peasy. No problem at all."

"You killed everyone I loved." "I killed everyone who stood between our bloodline and survival. There's a difference." Alaric gestured, and shadows formed shapes in the air—family trees, bloodlines, connections spanning centuries. "Look at what we've become. Scattered, diluted, dying. How many phoenixes remain? A dozen? Twenty? In my youth, we numbered in thousands." Professor Aria stepped forward, her hands weaving complex patterns, speaking words in the old language. A banishment spell, powerful enough to tear apart any normal projection. Light erupted from her fingers, holy and burning, striking Alaric directly.
