She looked spellbound. All of a sudden, lightning and thunder grumbled through the night sky. The crowd didn't seem to be bothered by the impending rain. Jesse and K wouldn't give a damn about it, too. As for K, she was having the time of her life. A little rain on a hot and humid New York summer night in the middle of a fucking concert wouldn't hurt. Murmurs filled the air as the audience waited for the next act. Jesse turned to K, leaning towards her ear. "Can you tell me what K stands for?"

He knew he still had a long way to go to get her to trust him and tell him things but Leo just wanted to make sure she was okay right now and the only way he could do that was by reading the letters. He reluctantly opened the letter, saying 'fuck it' because he couldn't stay patient. Dear Annie, I'm doing it again. I'm warming up to someone, letting them in, and ultimately allowing them to hold the power to hurt me, again. - Annie Leo ran a hand down his face as he re-read the letter so many times that the words started to jumble together. What does she mean? Is she talking about me? Does she think I'm going to hurt her? What does she mean again, who hurt her before?
