Neil Flambe Novels & Stories

Once his subordinates saw it, they could not help but tremble and shudder as though they knew the fate of any one who catches the of their boss. “Stop what you are doing. It’s not helping at all.” Yelled Neil, his right hand man, startling the two girls. He had a gun pointed at Sylvie and hers was the loudest scream in the whole room. “What is your problem? You could have just said it. No need to shout so loud!” she yelled as she smacked him on the back. Sylvie Newman came from a mysterious background. Jade didn’t even know her parents and all she knew of her was that she had four brothers hence the habit of smacking people whenever she was angry or emotional.

“Selena, go get your tests done. I’ll take her back and come right back to you.” “Okay.” He didn’t hear that there was no expectation left in that word. By evening, my phone lit up with Evelyn’s new video. In it, Adrian was driving his black convertible Aston Martin along the coastal road with her in the passenger seat. Evelyn turned the camera toward his hard profile, and her caption was syrupy enough to rot teeth. [After the fever went down, I wanted ocean air, and he said yes. Mr. Moretti to everyone else, my on-call driver to me. Don’t scold him. He just loves spoiling people.]

"He already texted three fire emojis when he got Giles's letter." I laughed. "I like Neil." "Everybody likes Neil." "You like Neil." "I love Neil," Alex said. Plainly. Like the word was not difficult. "He built something worth running and he trusted me with it and he texted fire emojis from a hospital bed. He's a good man."

"Aah good morning beautiful ladies. Natalia care to enlighten me who is this beautiful woman?"While his eyes were trained on me. "Uh..h M..My bestfriend Zita.Zita this is my neighbour Etienne Martin." "Nice to meet you " Zita said "The pleasure is all mine." "Need any help ladies?" "Uh..no,we can manage".I stuttered. "Sure...Have a good day both of you." "That hot piece of ass is your neighbour?"exclaimed Zita.I sighed.

“I don’t mess around, Lily. Let’s go.” We wind up on the wrong side of town, the part of the city where the buildings are tall and skinny and their shadows are even taller. The man we’re looking for, Neil, is a tech genius with a reputation for tracking down leaks and breaches like a hound. I don't like the place, but well, Mira is some kind of cousin of his, and she just seems to know where she is going. So we enter this annex-type kind of office building, and the first whiff my nose receives is that of very, very bad coffee and old paper. Everywhere there are monitors with numbers and data flowing all over the screens and this low noise of computers processing.

He whispered in disbelief, "This can't be... You're not my Lily. Give her back to me." With a laugh, I pulled out a string of bells I had pocketed on my way out. "Your Lily's gone, Simon. She's dead and gone." I gave the bells a shake, and they chimed sharply. Simon crumpled to the ground, his eyes searching wildly until they landed on Nicole's picture. He clung to it like a lifeline. "Nicole! Our daughter—" I cut him off sharply, "My daughter. My daughter, Nicole Scott, has nothing to do with you."

"These flowers are for you, Grandaunt Cassie and Aunt Rosie." When I saw how happy Mom looked, I regretted not bringing her home earlier. She'd been subjected to insults and mockery with Dad, but at home, she was Grandpa and Grandma's pride and joy. We had a lively meal. Uncle Brad turned on the TV to watch the news. Just then, a breaking news report came on. "A villa belonging to the Gray family accidentally caught fire. Gray Corporation's CEO and Shaw Group's heir are burned after trying to put out the fire."

Leila placed her fingers at the base of the flaming candle; she liked the warmth. Nyree gently combed out the snags in Leila’s hair. “Yes. I had a friend once, who went to seek a resolution from her. My friend did exactly as she had instructed, and was bewildered by how accurate and effective she was.” “But the ritual, during the memorial festival…what the prince wants to do, she won’t object to that, right?” Leila wished that it could be a secret forever.

"Damien Moretti and Lady Natalia St Dumas." The applause that followed drowned my confusion as the spotlight flashed on Damien and his so called business partner.
