All except one. A face that glared at me with a conceited smile. She had waited for this moment, she had waited to look me in the eyes with a calculative stare. Shania, drapes in a red polkadot gown and a black cashmere trenchcoat hanging over her shoulders. She let her ginger hair fall over shoulder with a braid at the two ends of her frontal. “Finally, we thought you were gonna have to cancel this meeting,” She smiled as though our argument yesterday never happened, like this was the first time we were speaking in months.

Alpha Jackson POV I can’t believe this is happening. This girl remembers me from a visit years ago. I hadn’t known who she was, and I never officially met her. She would have been a teenager when I last visited the Pack. Yet she remembers me. She has a resemblance to Kate, but I wouldn’t say she could be a sister. I don’t see myself in this young lady. She’s beautiful but not as beautiful as my Kate is.

He was speaking quietly with Killian. "You know," Neva said, her voice dropping to a whisper so only Calla could hear, "I don't know what's wrong with me lately." She fussed with the edge of a blanket, not looking at Calla directly. "I might be... you know... bi not lesbian because Mateo is suddenly looking... really, really handsome." Calla hid a small smile. "Life's too short to wonder about these things, Neva. Just shoot your shot." Neva took a deep breath, her cheeks turning pink. She walked over to the small bar area and poured two glasses of red wine. With determined steps, she walked right up to Mateo who now stood by himself as Killian went to pick something up.

And that’s when Raven told her everything.” “No sign of her shifting?” “No. I watched her like a hawk.” I find Neah sitting in the kitchen. Her legs folded up underneath her as she studied a bottle of half drunk juice. She doesn’t respond or even acknowledge me as I take a seat opposite. Her head was clouded with telling herself off. “You’ve never felt jealousy before.” I tell her. “It feels strange right? Having this need to attack someone?” She stops spinning the bottle and her blue eyes flash up at me. “Why?”

Rhea's Pov Neveah wrinkled her nose, puffing up her cheeks, “That’s not true!” She huffed, her voice gruff and defensive. She jabbed her little finger at Laziel, “You told me if I was scared, I could hold your arm. That’s what I did! Why are you blaming me now?” Before Laziel could say a word, she stuck out her tongue at him in pure mischief. Laziel blinked, then leaned forward, sticking his own tongue out at her, “You’re such a little troublemaker.” He muttered, but there was no bite in his words.

But he tried to hold his ground. “Nevea doesn’t like it when someone claims her.” Raven rejoiced after hearing his own voice not tremble even after suffering under Zach’s heavy gaze. “Really? She has no problem with me claiming her. She is rather happy about it.” Zach’s way of saying it was so smug that Raven wished he could kill Zach. “Maybe she is pretending. She is a good actress.” Raven replied without thinking. He glanced briefly at Nevea, surprised that she did not wake up even with the volume of their voice was loud enough.

' I just laughed at their banter about their daughters, though it made me crave that future. Aura and I have kept contact with Blaine and Lainee through our shared link and I even opened one with Cleo. Once I'd remembered I was able to do it with Jacob, Ryan, and even Cristian, I opened a link with her. She said it had to be some crazy warrior thing, leading me to become more curious with what comes with being a Black Moon member. I haven't confronted Tate yet about my curiosity, only Blaine and Lainee. They told me to ask Tate's mother, who was apparently a keeper for the council and kept all their documents and books. She knew all the history.

I can't show my real self to the world if in return all I get is hurt and cheating. The Rachel that everyone knows or sees, cheerful bubbly, and always makes everyone laugh is nothing but a coward that is too afraid to show her real self to the world. I'm not what others think of me and I don't want to change it. I shook my head trying to remove the painful memories of my past that I want to forget but sadly can't. And that's when I heard the sound of someone sneezing from outside. I thought to ignore thinking maybe it was some pass by but then I again heard the same sound repeatedly. With the teaser in my hand, I open the check, then sneeze badly and why.

I looked back up to see that the unfamiliar female and Iris were gushing about how adorable we were. "Oh, I forgot to introduce you, this is my daughter Nora and Alec's younger sister." I smiled and waved whilst still trying to get out of Alec's tight grip. "Alec darling, get off of Nevaeh and get ready for breakfast before I take out the album full of your baby photos" This was a great way of getting him to take his arm off my waist and allowed me to get up to get ready for breakfast. "Nevaeh gets ready and I'd make you some Pancakes."
