“What is this for?” “We are going on a little picnic babe.” He replied and I smiled as I placed my hand in his open palm. I had a broad smile on my face as we walked out of the pack and began strolling. The sun was almost down and the atmosphere was just right for a beautiful picnic. My whole body was bubbling with excitement, Bree was feeling fulfilled and energetic, she loved being around her mate and her tail wouldn’t stop wagging as she purred in delight. As soon as he stepped onto the school’s open courtyard, he heard a laugh that made his chest tighten with inexplicable warmth. “Liam!” The tiny voice rang out again like a bell. I’m drawing a dragon, Robbie,” came the proud, boyish retort in another tiny voice. “Unicorns are silly. They're for girls.”
