He stood near the mic and tapped into it twice before speaking. "Welcome everyone to the annual championship game. This event is going to start just exactly as the moon comes up..." The moon which I had learnt was the Mystic Moon. It was crescent-shaped and had a variety of stars surrounding it. It comes up only on July 7th of the year, and it had never changed.

We were cuddled in bed, and Jack suggested starting to watch a very popular Anime series on N*****x. We stayed embraced the whole night until nature called, and I had to pee. I’m now looking at my reflection in the bathroom mirror, my hand rests on his mark, my eyes linger along the beautiful pattern that adorns my skin, which is a new moon with a star that symbolizes a new beginning for us. We are one final step away from claiming each other completely.

That was what they called it now like it was something that had simply happened rather than something that had been done. Twenty-seven wolves were killed In one ceremony all because one Blood Moon rose red and swollen over Blackwood territory. And Selene, nineteen years old and shaking, standing at the edge of it all with blood on her hands that she could not explain. She remembered the faces more than anything. The way they’d looked at her. These were people who had watched her grow up, who had called her by her name, who had sat at tables with her and laughed with her and told her she was going to be the finest Luna their generation had ever seen. They all looked at her like she was someth

This church should worship him. He smiled. “The First Congregational Church of Brad,” he chuckled. But of course he couldn’t name it after himself, so instead he’d decided to call it “The Church of Luna.” Dedicated to the various moon gods and goddesses he’d encountered in his studies. Which made wonderful sense, seeing as how tonight was May 5th, the month’s first full moon, which would last until Wednesday night. His sigil? Carefully painted onto the front and back doors with a toothpick dipped into black paint, a pagan moon symbol:

My Alpha mate, Kane, finally reached out through the mind-link after three days of me not showing up at his door to make a scene. His voice cut into my head, carrying a rare trace of satisfaction. "Looks like you finally understand that the rules of the Blackwood Pack aren't just for show. Since you've learned your lesson, I'll give you the pass to the healing springs. And stop making a fuss over every little thing where Selena's concerned." I didn't answer. Just looked down at the bloodstains still dried between my thighs. Kane probably thought I'd finally learned to obey. Learned to bow my head to him and Selena. No one believed that I, as Luna, had to apply to Beta Selena just to use the

His eyes were bloodshot and crunchy from the lack of sleep. He sat up slowly, rubbing his eyes. He stretched and yawned extremely loudly. When he got up, he touched his toes and tried to get his muscles warmed up. Today wasn’t just any football game, after all. It was the traditional football game that celebrated the day his ancestors “expelled the vampires” from his town. Frankly, Liam thought it was a bunch of baloney, but apparently it was a big deal to the council of the town. That’s why, every year, they hosted the homecoming game with vampire decor and more. The cheerleaders of the high school team he was on were all wearing fake blood and vampire teeth, the same as they did every year

Ahri replied. "So, how are we going to find the bracelet? This is our last life and we should find it before the next full moon of this year. The New Moon today has an illumination of 0%. This is the percentage of the Moon illuminated by the Sun. The illumination is constantly changing and can vary up to 10% a day. On March 22 the Moon is 0.36 days old. This refers to how many days it has been since the last New Moon. It takes 29.53 days for the Moon to orbit the Earth and go through the lunar cycle of all 8 Moon phases," Ahri voiced out her thoughts.

In fact, I usually freak out, as they say, very easily, that's why I take some medications to try to control my temper, and at that point I picked one of the vials that was in my inner pocket of the blouse and put it in my mouth. I was the last one out, I had my backpack hanging only by my left shoulder, I fixed it properly on my back and only then looked around. I'm just in front of a heavy iron gate, I see several silver details, they were the five phases of the moon: New Moon, Crescent Moon, Half Moon, Waning Moon and Full Moon, these symbols form a circle, in the middle of the circle the symbol of Selene, our Goddess, the Goddess of the Moon.

The hum in the Grove settled. Luna lowered her hands. Her breathing slowed. She opened her eyes. The world looked… the same. Yet not. Edges were clearer. Shadows deeper. The stars above glowed with a faint halo, like each one had grown a thin ring of blue. The Moon hung higher now, silver again, the red of the Blood Moon gone. Her cracks remained. They shimmered with a new, pale light. “Look,” the Goddess whispered. *At yourself. Not in stone. In sky.*
