“Yeah well you did it!” I roll my eyes, shoving him back onto the bed as I grab the deck. “Oh, you’re gonna regret that. Next round. My turn to pick the bet.” Rich smirks, sitting up and cracking his knuckles. “Now we’re talking.” Rich shuffles the deck again, eyes glinting with mischief. ”Let’s see if you can redeem yourself, sweetheart." I wanted to say something but the words felt choked in my throat. "See you soon Temis…." Everything slowly faded away and went all black. I slowly opened my eyes to see everyone staring at me in anticipation, Becca standing beside me. "She is awake!" She yelled, sounding happy. "She has the red card!' she added and the crowd cheered, sounding happy when they should be mourning the death of Mirabelle. "What's going on?" I faced Becca, looking confused. "You just woke up and you're with the red card which means you made the right choice."
