New Weapons Deepwoken Novels & Stories

Gunner. I could see dead bodies everywhere. The little white houses indicated that I was looking at the Crescent Wolf village. I've been there twice, I remember what it looked like. But how is this happening? The amount of blood all over the ground was daunting. There’s a pile of pups laid on top of each other, all dead. There are wolves and human pieces spread out across the open field. In a quick flash, I was now looking down at men and women dressed in black combat gear, carrying ArmaLite rifles, automatic shotguns, and high-powered crossbows. This is high-tech military equipment. These hunters are the real deal, not some rag-tag group of wannabees. I tried to count how many hunters I cou

Lucas didn’t let a beat pass by, and he reversed towards the abandoned town, leaving dust in the wake of his van. “We need silver bullets.” Declan’s alpha mode was switched on. “We will need all the ammunition you have here.” Lucas parked his van at the back of the house where we stayed the night. He went to the back of the van, opening every drawer in sight, revealing tons of weapons, from high-powered guns, samurai swords, grenades, and even silver shackles. “Everything inside this van is a weapon against werewolves, no offense,” he said and picked up an AK-47.

Horrified, I watched, almost in slow motion, as they embedded themselves in the girl’s heads, one after the other. Red exploded, spluttering out of the holes, and their bodies slumped against each other. Dead. My training kicked in a millisecond later, cutting through my grief, and I prayed it was fast enough. I turned around, getting out of the way and drawing my gun, tears pricking my eyes as I scanned for the attacker, hoping Reed was okay. Where did he come from? How did we not see— There was only one person behind me, his expression neutral, as he lowered the gun.

is what the organization called him because of the number of impossible missions he has accomplished. When he finished bathing and getting dressed, he went to his secret armory. It was a bedroom inside his bedroom, it was inside the wardrobe hidden here a safe the size of a bedroom. In this room of his are all kinds of guns, blades, and other improvisations that he uses for his missions. In the middle of the armor, there is a large table, there are compartments and in each compartment has explosives like frag grenades, flash bang, and smoke grenades. There are also some different types of blades that he use. On the right side of the armory, there are the rifles M16, M4, AK47, AK74, Berreta A

And the men inside the facility do the obvious thing. They begin killing wolves where they lie. Gunfire tears across the approach. One of von Biljon’s guards steps into view and raises his rifle toward Torres. She is curled on her side in the dirt, muscles locking and releasing around a pain she cannot fight. She can heal almost anything that happens to her. She cannot heal what kills her before her body gets the chance. The rifle settles. And Dex steps between them. There is no speech. No glance over his shoulder to see whether Maya is watching. No moment in which he decides he is heroic and arranges himself accordingly.

"We need weapons." We didn’t have guns. I had Garrick bring a few long pry bars to the loading dock. I turned on the fire hose and aimed it at the tips. "Declan, what are you doing? Washing them?" I didn’t answer. I kept the water flowing over the steel. The moment it hit the air, it froze layer by layer, building outward. Within minutes, each bar had grown a long, tapered spike of solid ice. An ice spear. Garrick stared, wide-eyed.

“Underwater drones.” Daniel whistled. “That’s a lot of them.” Sophia leaned closer to the screen. “They’re not just drones.” Victor zoomed further. Each drone carried a small payload. “Explosive charges.” Elizabeth whispered, “They’re going to breach the structure.” Lewis turned toward the central system. “What defenses does this facility have?” The AI responded immediately. AUTONOMOUS DEFENSE SYSTEMS ACTIVATED A new screen appeared showing multiple underwater turrets deploying from hidden compartments around the facility.

"They’re siphoning. Someone down here is using the deep-well reserves to power their own grid." A series of floodlights flickered to life, blinding them. From the shadows of the filtration cylinders, a group of figures emerged. They weren't the desperate scavengers Alexander had expected. They were organized, wearing armored diving suits and carrying high-pressure water-cutters tools that could slice through steel as easily as paper. At their head was a man with a cybernetic jaw and eyes that had been replaced by wide-angle thermal lenses. He looked at Alexander not with hatred, but with a cold, predatory curiosity.

What shocked him even more was that the system could actually sense the location of the top three Ancient Weapons from such a distance. Without further thinking, David spread his mind power, and sure enough, he found the weapon on Planet Brechen. After a wave of his hand, a giant ax flew out and landed before him. At the same time, David took out the Sun Bow and God of Thunder Hammer. When the three weapons came together, something unexpected happened. The system popped up, and the top three Ancient Weapons turned into three light rays. After they integrated into the system, they disappeared. The system’s screen then turned black, displaying only a few prominent characters.

We had buried a lot of mines there, during the fencing, and it had paid off. "They have werewolves with them, Simone's enhanced kind," Doren said. Marcus and I looked at each other and smiled. Readying our monkshood silver bullet loaded guns, we aimed and waited for them to emerge. We were not going to try to shift and fight them. Gwen had thought us how much of a waste of time that was.
