Hearts at the Helm:A Billionaire's Gamble on Love

Hearts at the Helm:A Billionaire's Gamble on Love

The air in the New York Public Library press room was charged, not with the schadenfreude of scandal, but with the excitement of genuine mystery. The invitation itself had been cryptic, with only the image of a stylized ship's wheel merged with a drafting compass and the words: The Roberts-Jones Foundation: A New Horizon. No one knew what to expect. A mea culpa? A retirement statement? A final attempt at rescuing a reputation?

Mafia King

Mafia King

“I need to review your book right away so we can publish it. A lot of his fans are requesting his latest work.” I stood as well ready to walk her out. “Thank you for coming here, Lara.” I thanked her with a smile. She shook her head carefreely. “I wanted to come here so I could see how you were doing. The book was just an add on to my trip. When you called and told me a different address, I instinctively knew you were doing great. And the fact that you live in one of the richest sites here in New York.” She shrugs teasingly.

IT'S A JOB, NOT A RELATIONSHIP, MR. BILLIONAIRE

IT'S A JOB, NOT A RELATIONSHIP, MR. BILLIONAIRE

I closed my laptop with a snap, suddenly needing air. Grabbing my coat and scarf, I stepped out into the drizzling rain and started walking with no destination. The streets of Brooklyn were quieter today, the gray skies and mist keeping most indoors. But for me, the cold air was necessary. It helped me think, helped me breathe through the noise. My feet led me to a small antique bookstore tucked between a flower shop and a cafe. Nathan had brought me here on our second date, claiming they had the best leather-bound journals in the borough. I walked inside, letting the soft chime above the door pull me into a different world.

Just need to be edited, overall I love it, it has it's originality, it's start like some crazy sitcom and ends up having this climax, my favourite character has to be Goblin, I like how you portrayed his character, he's someone who was hurt because of the werewolves and vampires issues, overall nice

Forbidden By Her Sister's Husband

Forbidden By Her Sister's Husband

Her heart, which usually beat with a dull, anxious thud, suddenly kicked into a frantic rhythm. The Radical Review. It was a small, gritty literary journal based in a converted warehouse in Brooklyn. It published avant-garde poetry and essays on urban decay. It had absolutely nothing to do with Cross Industries. It had no board of directors, no stock price, and certainly no connection to Damian Cross. It was a lifeline.

I can’t believe its finish. Aria and Damian’s forever finally reached its end. I am really happy but hurt at the same time because I’ll surely miss them. I hope there are extra chapters though. Hahaha. Thanks for this masterpiece author! Now, looking forward for Sebastian and Viola’s story! Love you

This book had me completely hooked. The pacing is perfect, not rushed and not dragging, and every chapter hits with emotion, drama, and twists. The characters feel so real that it honestly plays like a movie in your head. Definitely recommend. One of my favorite reads lately.

The Twins He Never Knew

The Twins He Never Knew

She felt Kael’s wool coat become heavy with the dampness of a real New York morning. They tumbled out of the "Manuscript" and onto the floor of a Real-World Office. But it wasn't the Copyright Bureau. It wasn't the Vane Group. It was a small, dusty bookstore in Brooklyn. Standing over them was a woman with grey hair and a warm smile—the "Real" version of Mia. "Welcome back, Nora," Mia said, handing her a physical copy of a book. Nora looked at the cover. It wasn't Volume 2. It was a book titled: "THE AUTHOR’S APOLOGY."

His Book club

His Book club

I called again, moving toward the door but I got no answer. This guy is not only a nerd, he is also weird and somehow crazy. I wonder how I was going to cope with him when I joined his book club. I grabbed my phone off the table and unlocked it. As the screen popped on, messages flooded in. Group chats messages , especially the ones I've muted for a while now. ‘Arian Smith, Orleans College Book Club President, Accused of Misusing Club Funds.’ I blinked, trying to wake myself from the dream. I scrolled down, read it again and it was still the same.

Indebted to the Mafia King

Indebted to the Mafia King

The night is fucking cold, and the streets are bustling with people walking in and out of stores to buy their last minute Christmas gifts. I’ve always loved this side of New York City. There’s always something going on. The city never sleeps. My eyes dart toward the bookstore across the street, noticing the lights are still on despite the ‘Closed’ sign on the door. I take a puff of my cigarette, my gaze never leaving the woman inside while she moves piles of books from one shelf to another, making sure everything is in the right place.

Thirty Days Before Goodbye

Thirty Days Before Goodbye

The first review I read was from a literary publication that described the book as unflinching and specific and written with the particular authority of someone who had lived inside the thing she was describing rather than observing it from outside. The second review used the phrase inside view. Not from the methodology. From the book. From the chapter about the Marlowe's dinner and eating the meal alone and going home with every piece of yourself intact. The third review was not a professional review. It was a message in the Aldrich Press reader feedback system, forwarded to me by Patricia. A woman who identified herself only as M. She said she had bought the book on Tuesday. She said she w

This is the kind of story that lingers in your mind long after you close the app. The story deserves far more recognition than it's getting because the author knows exactly how to keep readers emotionally hostage....️

To anyone settling for crumbs of love. I would recommend this story. Natalie proved that losing someone who never valued you isn’t a loss…it’s freedom. One of the most emotionally satisfying stories I’ve read so far. Once again I recommend reading this blockbuster story. Kudos to the author.
