Silence. Then Daisy smiled. "Oh that's beautiful." Roman nodded. "It suits her." Noah laughed softly. Because somehow it really did. Leo. And Ava. The twins finally had names. That evening all three families gathered in NICU. Three incubators. Three tiny babies. Violet. Leo. Ava. Three names. Three little fighters. Outside the hospital windows fireworks began appearing across the city. New Year's Eve. A brand new year arriving. Roman stood beside Daisy. His arm around her shoulders.

Everything was dodged. “I wonder if these newborns got weaknesses too.” Alpha Lachlan motioned forward to attack the one in front of him. Alpha Lachlan raised his sword and mightily made an attempt to slice him in half. His plan got no mercy involved, but a slow death is brutal for a kid regardless if he is a newborn or not. Besides, they can't do anything for them. Not yet. “Wh-What…what the hell,” he stuttered. His eyes widened. His mouth wide open. He can feel his whole body trembling.

It’s trying to bridge the gap!" ​The greenhouse began to vibrate. The lilies turned from white to a deep, pulsing violet. Outside, the sky roared as a fleet of black GSC gunships crested the mountain range, their searchlights cutting through the leaded glass.

I went to my room, played my favorite song, took a shower, got into my PJs, dried my hair, tried them on in a braid, and hopped onto the bed with my laptops and snacks. This was my kind of Netflix and Chill. When I opened my eyes to my phone’s caller tune, the first thing that came to my eyes was darkness. It was the darkest night I had ever seen. I checked the time with one eye and the other one didn’t reciprocate; the time was ticking at 2 am. I received the call without checking the name as my eyes were protesting to open. “Hello,” I murmured in sleep. “Did you call him?” “Who?”

He then asked in a hushed tone, "Out of these three, who will you choose to save?" "Lila!" they exclaimed together. The icy spears pierced through my sister and me, blood spurted from our wounds, and we nearly passed out from the pain. Just then, an elder from the Celestial Realm intervened. "God of Water! God of Fire! Stop this madness! These two are the Twin Flowers of Chaos. Their death will unleash chaos, and the world will be no more! The two of you are their husbands; how can you forsake them? Think of the greater good."

Shannon POV I could feel my anger rising, my heart beating hard, my feet trembling, my head flaming and I gnashed my teeth. I could feel my anger rising so badly that I had to clutch my hands to control my rising anger. "I am the one that is worth this position, not her and I can't allow her to have it." I growled in my head. My twin sister, Sharon, was about to be crowned the ambassador of the Blue Moon pack. I had always craved this position but she just came from nowhere and snatched it away from me just like that.

Gently, Ste-phen reached up, sweeping a strand of hair from his face and kissing the tip of Mason’s red nose. "You did well… little mate," Ste-phen whispered in his ear. •••••••••• TWILIGHT'S ROOM The only light in the room came from the television, its glow illuminating Seth and Twilight. Twilight had her head resting on Seth's chest while his arms were wrapped around her. She took a piece of popcorn, raised it, and offered it to Seth, which he ate without any complaint. She took one for herself too, and both chewed quietly.

In the darkened corridors, the nurse's footsteps echoed with a chilling purpose. Jayden, feeling exhausted himself, reluctantly obeyed the doctor's advice and left Lena and their newborn alone to rest. Lena, completely drained from the birthing process, finally succumbed to sleep, unaware of the tragic events that were about to unfold. In the silence of the dimly lit room, the nurse, carrying the lifeless baby, stealthily entered. She carefully placed the tiny, motionless form beside Lena, and told Lena newborn baby, her heart heavy with urgency. Just as she was about to make her exit, her eyes met the piercing gaze of Doctor Hannah, who had been silently observing from the doorway.

At first, she tried to hold back, but as the night went on, reason gave way to emotion. In a low, teasing whisper, he asked, “Don’t believe me?” Her eyes glistened, her voice tender. “I do, I do.” She bit down on his shoulder playfully. “That’s for being naughty!” Hunter’s dark eyes deepened, spurred by her reaction, and he let himself indulge fully. By the end of it all, Tara drifted into a deep, peaceful sleep. Hunter, now fully sober, gazed down at her glowing face nestled in his arms.

“Welcome to the world, Seris.” Aries’s voice was steady, full of promise. “We’ll protect her. Always.” The three of them — mother, father, and daughter — settled into a peaceful silence, the future stretching before them like an unspoken vow. The soft sound of the door creaking open stirred Aurora from her light sleep. The newborn was still nestled peacefully in her arms, her tiny chest rising and falling with the rhythm of a calm dream. Aries had stepped away for only a moment, just as the twins’ scent wafted toward the doorway.
