If you are a student, you need to wear the color of your house. Aren't you sorted yet?" "Sorted?" I ask. Two other girls are glaring at me from behind the blonde girl, clearly her little minions. They all wear the same blue cheerleading clothes, and blondie got pointy ears—definitely Fae. "At Magic Academy, there are four houses; each one represents an element—as you can see, we all belong in the house of water. It values beauty, but beauty doesn't seem important to you since you're wearing those clothes."

This works in their favor because if these Barnacle Trees were capable of moving around, then their group might really end up incapacitated by the sheer volume of needles that will rain on them. "Ohh??? So that cat is your spiritual beast??? Impressive!" It was the first time that Nero used his panther form ever since they arrived at Iridos. So it was inevitable that the group was surprised upon learning that the cute little black cat was actually a magical beast. Magical beasts that are capable of changing its form is so rare. So rare that many even thought that these kind of magical beasts were just nothing but a mere legend. One cannot obtain a spiritual beast like that even if one has bo

Besides, if magic was real, why couldn't this guy be a psychic? 'And maybe I'll grow a tail and swim away,' she thought dreamily. 'If only.' She felt her smile grow wider with every step Damien took in her direction. When he stopped in front of her and took the leash from Psychic Boy, Damien looked at her like she'd gone crazy. "I don't remember you ever smiling this much," he commented. He had a point. "Uh, well, you make me happy," Belle explained. "The spell has turned her into your dog," Psychic Boy offered an alternative theory. "If she had a tail it would be wagging. She whines all day when you're gone. Obeys your every command."

He already has the one he wanted, the beautiful lady by his side, so he never gave the first place more thought. "This year, we have a special surprise for everyone, the prize for the first place will be of amazing magnificence," Madame Lu stepped to one side and with a move from her hand, an enormous box appeared in the middle of the platform. It was covered by a long golden fabric, however, some strange energy was coming from behind it. Elton jumped from his seat that instant, the same as some others. He knew what was that aura. He wouldn't mistake it for anything else. It was a magic beast, however, not any magic beast but a special one that even the mighty race of dragons had seen only o

Another time, they had difficulties tracking a rank 4 Furred worm that was nearing a low-danger area, endangering that environment. Lucinda suggested creating a bait with a pack of ant-type magical beasts which was the favorite meal of that creature. Pointless to say that the bait worked perfectly and the Furred worm couldn't resist the temptation of that meal, exposing itself to the hunters that ably vanquished it. The quantity of information that he had learned in the magical beasts' course of the academy was incredible and he also was really interested in that topic. Lucinda didn't know why she liked studying so much about magical beasts.

Kiema said, patting Kord's arm braced over her front. "The Beast. It comes," Alok said, his pale blue eyebrows dipped low over his tricolored eyes. "Right, yes. You've mentioned. What is the beast and why should I care?" Kiema asked. The group of Wardens jerked back as if Kiema had punched them in the bellies. "The Beast is the natural apex predator of all magical kind. It is the antithesis to any Prime or Prime descendant."

The oracle has already been summoned, so it should not be more than a few days," he replies, and my eyes bulge as he speaks about the mythical creature my teachers talked about during our story times. "The Beast Oracle is only a legend...Not a real being...right," I whisper, and he growls softly.

His eyes glowed bright green. -What the hell is that? - Darius pulled out a dagger, more comfortably intercepting the hilt. - Where is the bear from? -This is one of the "experimental" magicians, - Edgar made an assumption. He released the trembling girl and she immediately darted behind him with a frightened mouse. - Probably ran away from the kennel.
