I looked at the tattoo made on my hand and wondered if witches had a spell or potion in those sacred books of theirs that could get rid of unwanted tats. I’d like to know but asking Rachel is risky, especially when they’re still suspicious about it—especially Liam—but Nicole would help, she’s my best bet. Nicole’s a friend of Rachel’s who Leah isn’t very fond of as they’re both witches of the same fingers… whatever that means. And I wanted to think that Nicole was one of the reasons Leah doesn’t come to dinners. She’s a full witch but she has a talent for nature. The other locks her arm around my shoulders, yanking me backward with surprising strength. “Let go of me!” I yell, struggling against them, but they tighten their grip. Nicole steps forward, no longer composed. Her elegance is gone—now there’s just fury. Ugly and unchecked. She slaps me. Once. Hard. Then again. And again. Each hit lands with a sting that echoes louder than the last. “This is what you get for touching a real Luna,” she growls. “For pretending to be more than what you are. A forgotten little she-wolf playing dress up in a place she doesn’t belong in.”

Nicole said, exasperated, "Then have more kids. There's bound to be one that slips through the net." Killian: "......" Nicole was in a bad mood. She picked up her brush and splashed paint randomly on the strange painting. At that moment, Killian suddenly held a red booklet in front of her. Nicole glanced at it irritably. "What's this?" She recognized the words on the red booklet and snatched it, opening it in shock. "Is this yours?" "Sheila? Killian?" Nicole beamed, incredulously patting his arm. "Son... this isn't some fake book you made for a few bucks, is it?"

I said exhaustively, leaning against the lockers as Nicole kept her books inside. She chuckled. “Leaving this town without permission is a mission in itself you wouldn’t want to venture.” Once her books were inside, she took a comb out to straighten her tangled hair. Suddenly, she stopped combing and placed her hand on my upper arm. “I am sorry for what happened with you in the morning. I have never seen Apollo getting so out of control. He is a bully, but today… I don’t know what happened…” Gritting my teeth, I loosened my tie. “That man is a fucking asshole.”

After she finished the three tablets, Nancy gave Lily a teasing look before she exited the room. "Do you really need to take all those medicines?" "Unfortunately, yes but after I am all healed all I need to take is my anti-rejection medicine and the one for my heart." She kissed my temple "I can't believe you're here." I giggled "You're being too sweet, Lily." "Why? Can't I be sweet to my girlfriend?" She slightly pinched my cheek "I love you, Nicole." "I love... How did you know my second name?" "Well, perks of being a friend of Rose."

"Zero-scorer is reading an Esperian book? I'll confiscate it." Lulu looked at Nicole worriedly, knowing that Nicole had always treated her books as her precious treasure. This fat girl had crossed her redline. Nicole stood in the doorway with her arms folded as if she had no intention of stopping the fat girl. She had even made a 'please' gesture. The fat girl was even more arrogant and took the other books from Nicole's desk when she saw Nicole was so cooperative. She heard Nicole was nasty, so she was here today to give Nicole a bloody nose.

She asked in a hurried voice. Nicole, who sounded angry, probably because Jade must've separated her from flirting with those boys. "They would be here somewhere! They didn't leave. Please let me go and enjoy the event." She complained which almost made Liam laugh out loud. Liam nudged me and stood up. "I know you have no wish to go out there. I'll take care of that and join you soon, okay?" He asked. I nodded and smiled at him gratefully as he left me alone. I stood up and started going through the books on the shelves. They were mostly supernatural ones. Like those vampires and scary werewolves.
