My parents were both gone. "Kaydence come out here." Damion's voice was just outside my hiding spot. "I can hear you crying Kaydence and I don't have patience for this right now." I slowly slid the wall open and climbed out. Damion stood in front of me covered in blood. His arm was gushing it and I just kicked into survival mode.

My name is Ayra Nightingale Rivera. I’m here for my internship.” She said all together without a pause.

It was only then that she realized I’d fixed her house. She turned around and stared at it for a few seconds, as if she were inspecting it to make sure that I didn’t leave even the smallest speck of blue on the paint. I hadn’t, though I’d thought about it.

“Is my light bothering you?” Althea shook her head slowly. “No.” She answered politely. Her eyes remained fixed on the symbol. “What’s that book you’re reading?” The nurse blinked before glancing down at the page. “Oh. This?” She commented as she lifted the book slightly. “It’s from an old historical archive text. I went to the library a few days after the attack at Blackstone to find a book to make me forget that night. I asked some staff and one told me that there are interesting books at the historical section and borrowed this.”

The bedroom had its own bathroom. Ambert went straight to the table at the dining area and sat at one of the two vacant chairs there. He put out his cell phone from his jacket and carefully laid it on the table while Nancy put her bag down on the sofa and walked towards the windows. “You’re not lying when you said your room has a magnificent view,” she said as she absorbed the scenery below: one of the biggest malls in the country located beside the sea.
