Nightmare Before Xmas Hill Novels & Stories

“Come to Grandma, little man!” Rowan went willingly, waving a chubby fist like a king dismissing his subjects. We made it halfway to the barn before Cassie yelled, “I see you two! Five minutes means five minutes, not twenty!” Rhett flipped her off behind his back. I laughed so hard I had to lean on him to stay upright. **** Santa Ynez Valley – December 23, two days before Christmas “Why does the Christmas tree look like that?” Nina asked, eyes wide at the absolute chaos that was our twelve-foot noble fir Christmas tree.

My breathing was ragged, the air too thin for my burning lungs. “I—I can’t… Xander, I—” My knees gave out, collapsing into the muddy ground. My nails grew in rapid, violent bursts, shredding through my shoes. The sound of cracking bones fused with distant howls piercing the night sky. Xander ran toward me. His face was tense, but not panicked. He knew what was coming. Yet he didn’t shift. Beneath the full moon, he remained human. Unmoving. Unhowling. “Willow,” he said gently, but with authority, “Look at me. Don’t let yourself get lost.”

Willow nodded, "Very well then. We'll head out after dinner." Willow gazed out the car window as they drove through the city. There was fresh powder on the streets, so Dante was taking his time driving as Willow stared awestruck at the Christmas decorations. She knew the community always decorated for the holidays, but for some reason it seemed more magical than it did before. The twinkling colorful lights. Wreaths on the doors. There were musicians on corners playing music. "You look like you've never seen Christmas before." Dante teased her. Willow blushed as she sat back in her seat.

And Hill was known to almost every important person in Miami as Dylan Cross's personal driver. If he was to be seen with Raven, it could blow their cover for Omar and his Arabian relatives. "Don't worry, Ma'am. I'm not driving you to The Echelon" Hill said gently. Chelsea's pupils dilated for the third time that day. He spoke to her! Hill actually spoke to her! She had never heard him speak to her before. Matter of fact, she could count the times she had heard him speak at all. It was twice, once to Dylan and the second time was when he saved her from Alexander Shaw at The Echelon.

Chapter 42: BURN EVERYTHING TO THE GROUND Xander – Crescent Moon Pack, Arena The arena stretched before me like a vast, jagged wound in the earth, its dark stones standing in stark contrast to the pale light of dawn that began to seep over the horizon. This was no ordinary battleground—it was a place of finality, where destinies were forged in blood and pain. The air felt suffocating, charged with the weight of countless lives that had been decided in this very space. Each breath I took tasted like dust and anticipation, a sharp reminder that today, everything would change.

On any of them. “I love you, too, my son,” he said and pulled him close to his breast. The morning of the twenty-seventh, the day before they were supposed to leave, Jaxsen woke excitedly. He looked out the window and gasped. It snowed during the night. He was hoping that it would snow a bit more than it had so there would be enough to sled down the large hills surrounding the property. All the local kids sled down these hills and he'd been excited ever since Sebastian told him about it. The hills were steep with luscious grass and wildflowers in the summer, and in the winter, the snow covered them into giant mounds that made for perfect sledding. At breakfast Jaxsen was bouncing in his seat

Lillie Damon stared out the window of her cabin. The lightning in the midnight sky illuminated the forest on Slaughter Hill. Wind hissed through the forests. Thunder rang with a loud explosion that echoed for miles. She was determined it was a suitable midnight to cast a spell upon her suitor Paul. She went into the shower. Lying down on the counter was a comb that Paul used to comb his hair. Lillie picked up the hair from his comb. Lillie stepped onto the back deck and cleaned the soil off the underside of his loafers. She continued into the backyard and ignited a picture of him and picked up the ashes. She was squatting on the floor with torches all around her. The gleam of the torches pro

REID The events of the day replay in my dreams all night like a horror movie that I can’t turn off. I’m back on that ridge, watching as Xavier staggers toward Gray, lunging in a last desperate attempt to fight him off. I see Gray tear out his throat again, hear the gurgling sound as Xavier struggles for air, blood spurting from the gaping wound in his neck and staining the snow. This time, though, when I go to turn away, something gives me pause. I look back to see Xavier rise again, still bleeding from the neck but still very much alive. Everyone else has their backs turned, and I open my mouth to warn them, but no sound comes out…

At other times, they could resemble two liquid-blue pools of flashing fire. His devil-may-care outlook and bass voice were a big part of his ambitious character. He always wore nifty clothes and his spicy aroma was appealing. “Dad!” He embraced and patted her continuously as he expelled his breath and gazed heavenward. “Everything will be fine, you've made the best decision by returning home.” The honking of a van and blaring of a siren could be heard in a distant as an ambulance and special ops' van approached the crime scene with a team of Doctors and mobile soldiers.

Arthur’s father, a kind man with a twinkle in his eye, leads the toast. “To family, to love, and to new beginnings. Merry Christmas!” We all clink glasses, and I take a sip, feeling a sense of contentment wash over me. As everyone continues to chat and enjoy the evening, I quietly slip away to put Hayley to bed. Her room is cozy and peaceful, a little sanctuary from the excitement. I tuck her in, brushing a kiss on her forehead. She stirs slightly, opening her eyes. “Is it Christmas, Mommy?” she asks, her voice sleepy.
