~Ruby~ I was halfway into the book now. Interesting. Whenever I read, something connects me to the constant nightmare. The transformation process is similar to how the man in my dream does. Could he be a werewolf? What do I have to do with him? How can a werewolf be bugging my fucking dream? I went to the living room, still holding the book. Suddenly, like a hallucination, I saw a wolf in the living room. “Argh…!” I screamed. Mom rushed out of the kitchen.

“It’s kind of cute, seeing the nightmare of this school acting like such a puppy.” He pouted. “How did that name even stick to me? I wasn’t even that bad.” “Please.” I rolled my eyes. “I only came to this school a semester ago—how would I know? But according to Eli, you broke a lot of hearts. And, sadly, girls always fall for the bad ones.” I raised my fingers in air quotes. “Not all nightmares are bad, Cross. They called you the nightmare they wouldn’t want to wake up from. Though, honestly, I thought otherwise when I first met you.” I giggled.

A clear mockery of the game that Winona just played and ended. A sly way to protest, and somehow honestly tell her that it is better to take it a bit slower than it is intended to. For in this book and world, darkness and hell are inevitable and true.

As I looked up, those same electric blue eyes that always give me this strange feeling met my green ones, and she said, “I won, freak, I made you bow down to me. Mwahahahaha!” Wait, something is not right here. Why is she laughing evilly at me? And she sounds like a cockroach with a very tiny voice. Then suddenly, *PAAAAKKKK!* The book in front of me was shut so loud that it made me wake up from that nightmare. Wait, do you call it a nightmare when you sleep at noon and have a bad dream? I don't think so. But whoever did that, I will surely kill them and rip their hearts and throats out. Then I will suck all their blood and not leave a single drop in their body. I'm furious as fudge!

I glared at the book till I was on my bed and the book never opened - maybe it is my illusion. I ducked myself into the sheets and this time I could hear the flipping of a book - The book. I was scared as hell because when I was still young, I read a lot of horror stories without the consent of my mother, Nahigra. I stared until the last flip of a page. Gradually and slowly as I can, I left my bed to see what my eyesight can't comprehend. To my surprise, it was still that same chapter and a phrase written in bold, "WHEN EVERYTHING GOES SOUTH, DO NOT GO NUT?"

They did everything together and cuddled in her bed whenever she was lonely or sad . Every time they were together, Juana felt good, but she couldn't hide the fact that her greatest fear was losing her.
