"Come to find out, the pack I was from were witch-wolves—hybrids." He finished his slice of pizza and then crossed the room to get a few more pieces, but I already felt his absence. "So, The Skyefrost Pack was your pack?" I nodded, tilting my head to the side. "You knew they were hybrids?" "Yes, of course. If I didn't know about the other packs, I wouldn't be a good Alpha." Xander shrugged, taking another bite of his pizza. "What else did you find out?" I sighed, hating to have ruined our time together. But then again, he was being incredibly open-minded about this. "He was the one who killed River, Macy and Maria, and my Skyefrost Pack."

I don’t know how long I’d been asleep when something startled me awake. For a while I didn’t know what it was. I don’t know how much power those souls can give, but it has to be a lot if he thinks it will give him a shot. Instantly, Phoenix and my dad are on his heels, prepared to kill. My dad’s wolf crashes into Xavier, making his face slam into the glass chamber and as Xavier body slides to the ground, my dad’s wolf puts his throat in his mouth. Still aware of everything going on, the wolf looks up to Phoenix, waiting for Phoenix to confirm the death. Phoenix presses his lips together and gives him a single nod, confirming the kill. Without hesitation, his wolf’s teeth pierces through Xavier’s neck and rips it out. It’s like the weight in the room is lifted as this death officially ended Xavier Bla

“Glad you reconciled with your fate.“ He smiled, his brows furrowing once again. “What are you leaning against?“ He asks, keeping his gun in a straighter position. “Xander.“ Lena replied, her chest pounding quite hard, she felt fingers drawing soothing circles on her back. “Don't be ridiculous. I understand you are in shock and delusion right now but I killed your lover.“ Xander pushed Lena behind him, moving towards the starlights illuminating the night. “Or maybe you are the delusional one, Jack.“ Jack paled up immediately, his cocky expression slackening. Xander readied his gun, releasing the trigger. “It can't be possible, I killed you.“

They all know him, and it was a long time ago since they heard that name. Nicolas Cruzvelt, the Alpha who killed the triplet's mother, Xanthea, is here to kill them also. They think he still holds grudges to them and wants them killed. But how long he will take the fire and burn of the hearts of the wolves and mafias.

A couple of kids sacrificed for a lot of them. In reality, I was just being selfish, and I paid the price. At that thought, I reached up and touched my throat where the scar was. Glitch tried to kill me, slitting my throat in front of everyone else after telling them what I did. Then he and everyone else just left as I bled to death. Or well, I came close. Even when I'm useless, the Nightmare Master would never let me die.

“After the coma, and I think after the argument. I don't really remember.” “I think we still need to see a doctor.” “Why? Don't tell me that you think the nightmare is just a hallucination.” I shot back. “No, but it's strange that you recovered so quickly after the Crystal Moon incident. Now, you are suddenly having nightmares about someone who died a day or two days later.” “Xander...” I let out a deep exhale, my shoulders sagging. “Believe me, I had that nightmare about him, and this... I won't have a good sleep until this is solved.”

Pain rips through my skull even without touching me. “AMBUSH!!!!” Jaxon roars and his men scatter. I move fast. I rip a net free before it fully deploys and throw it back. It catches a hunter mid-step, slams him into a tree. A bullet pierces through me as the shock clips my arm. I grunt but keep moving. Midnight surges, furious. She wants to help but she can’t. I take down three hunters without shifting. I used my dagger, going for their throat. One of them stares at me, eyes wide. “It’s her…..”

“I am not interested. Go and talk about it without me, I’m not included with you guys, anyway.” I walked. I did not mind bidding goodbye to Nikolai who was intently watching and hearing me and Clark talk. Clark followed me. “This is not a joke anymore, Xienne. Come and think about it. Two of our classmate was killed.” I looked at him. “And?” “What if someone from us is the killer.” I chortle. “You are being paranoid, Clark. Stop watching cheap horror movies. You are creating your own horror.” “I thought you are smart, Xienne. I am stating possibilities here.”
