Nikolai. I nervously lick my lower lips and I find myself leaning in and I kiss him.

The tub of ice cream and the rest of the snacks I’d devoured during my Emilia in America marathon now sat discarded in the trash along with my hopes and dreams of James being revived for a season four. So far, Nikolai and I have both had a turn and while I've been faithful to the rules and answered his question about my favourite colour without a moment of hesitation- it was pink, by the way - his lips had remained shut when I questioned him about his most embarrassing moment. It has some copper colour buttons like things on its surface. Philip removed his specs and rubbed his tired eyes. Ivy was taken to his private clinic and he removed this suspicious looking chip from her head after keeping her under anaesthesia. He sent it to a lab who is well versed with this kind of thing. But it was Shawn who already guessed what it was the moment he saw it.

However truth be told, I didn’t want to know either, even if it was the reality I couldn’t still see my big brother in such light as a dark, bloodthirsty and power hungry demon, I would rather leave him in my memories as sweet and caring. Jane fell into a puddle on the ground. “NIkki!” I finally called. Casper and Jane looked at me wild eyed. “Nadia,” Nikolai says in a thick Russian accent. He does call me using my Russian name sometimes. “ty chut' ne ustroil moim druz'yam serdechnyy pristup (You almost gave my friends a heart attack),” I told him. I lightly chuckled at his confused face, looking at my friends who are still staring at him. “This is my brother Nikolai.” I told them.

NIKOLAI A few hours ago. Nikolai received a lunch invitation that he badly wanted to decline. It wasn’t even sent in a text message. Someone sent him an invitation with not much detail. It simply wrote: ‘La Château Gourmet. 11:30 am sharp. See you there, Nicky.’ -J

There’s the slightest pause before he answers. “Caleb. My older brother.” I blink. That wasn’t the answer I was expecting. “Your brother?” I repeat. I had no idea Nikolai had a brother. Theo certainly never mentioned that. He nods once. I glance in the direction the blonde guy—Caleb—- disappeared in, then back at him. “You don’t treat him like an older brother.” Nikolai’s lips twitch slightly. “That’s because he’s an idiot.” I huff out a quiet breath.

" You know how much respect I have for you, Gio but if we were all to accept sorrys, don't you think our empires would have collapsed? " Giovanni was quiet. I was in awe of the power Nikolai was exuding. Despite being much younger than all of the mafia Dons in the room, he commanded respect. " What is it that you want Nik? " Gio asked. " Only those who are close to me call me Nik. You and I are not close, Gio so call me Nikolai or don't at all. As for what I want, I want nothing. My wife will decide what she wants to do about this whole situation. "

She had finally concluded Nikolai was angry because she didn't welcome him well enough. "Okay, so what does he like?" "Well, uhm he likes T-shirts. Plain Tshirts and he likes them in color white and black, he also likes collecting action figures and he likes eating chocolate..." this made Heidi snicker as his eyes glanced through her mind briefly before she continued, "He likes to eat crabs and snails and he likes playing basketball and he likes annoying me and he likes–" "Th-that-that's enough honey. I get it, he likes a lot of things." Ro chuckled amusedly to which the girl nodded heartily in agreement.

“Do not speak unless I give you permission to do so,” I clamp my mouth shut and Nikolai grins. “What’s the matter Маленький ягненок,[Little lamb] afraid?” When I don’t say anything he tilts his head. I was afraid but I was not about to show him that and I raised my shoulders and shook my head “No” He smirks before he slaps me again. “Now I see why he likes you so much. You're a feisty little lamb,” Nikolai’s phone rings and he answers it.
