Nine Tailed Dragon Novels & Stories

This was her only choice. "Okay, I can tell you what for the dragon asked you to look for." "What is it?" "A dragon egg or an ant egg." "What do you mean? A dragon egg and an ant egg." The Ant Queen sneered and said, "You only heard that the dragon has nine sons, but you don't know that the dragon has not only nine sons, but also ten thousand sons, right?" "To some extent, the so-called 'nine' does represent the 'nine' on the number, but in fact, it has an endless supply value."

The distance between them shrank. Three feet. Two feet. One. The key stopped only inches away from the box. A brilliant blue beam connected them. The chamber exploded with light. Every ancient carving across the walls illuminated at once. Hidden murals emerged from centuries of darkness. Adrian turned slowly. The walls weren't covered with symbols alone. They told a story. Nine explorers. Nine keys. Nine doors. And at the center of every carving... The same man appeared again and again. Watching. Waiting. Never aging.

David read out. "So I have two tails?" Satake had a point. David subtly used the predator rune to expose Satake's fox spirit. Except the text of serpents was wrong, Satake was supposed to have two tails. David could clearly see one... Two... Nine. Nine tails. That would make Satake ninety years old. "No. You have nine tails." David informed. "So another inaccuracy from the book, I suppose." Satake yawned.

He examined the engraving. “No.” I looked. The dragon wasn’t like Nicholas’s personal symbols. It had two heads. Wings spread. A crown between them. Lydia leaned closer. “That’s not a dragon.” “What?” I asked. She pointed. “Look at the tails.” Two bodies. Intertwined. Not one creature. Two. “Twins,” I whispered. Lydia looked at me. The room went silent again. Chase frowned. “I never noticed.” Nicholas turned the key.

Overall Lana’s dragon was a beautiful petite dragon. Adonis' dragon had a copper base color with dark green accent scales peeking out underneath the top layer of copper in certain areas. His tail, talons, and body size were all mostly in comparison with Draven but just a tad smaller. Harris quickly looked forward when he felt Draven begin to descend. A small cottage tucked close to the mountain on the north side came into view.

Everything felt peaceful. Until suddenly, glowing, floating comments flashed across my vision. [Dragon tails are reserved for their mates! She let the Dragon Emperor’s youngest brother wrap his tail around her for three days in a row!] [That counts as marriage in dragon society! Three days means three lifetimes. It’s more official than a marriage certificate!] [That’s not her best friend’s nephew. It’s the Dragon Emperor’s younger brother!] [The Dragon Emperor himself is diving down from the heavens! His ETA is in 5 seconds!]

I thought I could wait out the trial period in peace, but Cassian's rut came early. Every month, high-tier dragons suffer a few days of agonizing torment. They absolutely need their mate's scent to soothe them, or they go feral. I stood in front of his tightly shut stone door and took a deep breath. It was my duty, a cold, contractual obligation. I pushed the door open. Cassian healed incredibly fast. His wounds from last night were mostly gone.

The Nine-Tailed Fox, even though it actually has a habitat on land, is able to dive in the depths of the ocean for a maximum of two weeks without needing to take air to the surface. Of course, it was possible if the Nine-Tailed Fox still had the full amount of power. With its condition that it had released its eight tails to restrain Xuan Wu, the Nine-Tailed Fox was estimated to only last less than a week in the water while to reach mainland Luzon using the fox's speed, it would still require ten days of travel.

I opened my eyes again and looked around. Baz was standing in front of me and Jennifer was still holding my hand. I squeezed her hand as she looked at me with big eyes. “We bow in your presence Typhon, father of all dragons and mightiest beast in all of the realms, we request the turning of this human so she may birth strong dragon children with her bonded half, her heart is pure and her intent is honorable,” Baz said. I saw the flickering of a black tail and then the great dragon came forward from the shadows as we all bowed our heads. He had a magnificent aura of power, almost suffocating me and I knew that I stood in the presence of the oldest dragon to ever live.

Temujin said, “but we can’t discount the more literal possibility. They have the power to rewrite history. Retsu grants its wielders the ability to bend not only space and matter but also time.” “I thought so too,” Sasha agreed. “What about the part about the ‘tenth head’ and the ‘sickness’? That riddle has been bothering me for the longest time.” The three Slayers thought about this. “The dragon god Kuzuryū Daimyōjin had nine heads,” Aki finally said. “With him, the phrase ‘tenth head’ probably had the same meaning as a right-hand dragon, his most trusted dragonkist, which would make it Ulugh Alaz the red dragon. The word ‘sickness’ can mean anything from poison to dragon-rot, but I think w
