Everything He Wasn't Allowed To Be

Everything He Wasn't Allowed To Be

“What do you want from me? I told you I don’t have the money.” ‎The blackmailer chuckled, a low, grating sound. “Oh, Jonah. You definitely do. And being a miser right now is terrible.” ‎ ‎"Plus you have a super hot, super rich boyfriend," the figure added. ‎ ‎My stomach churned, but I refused to back down. “You think you can scare me into paying you? I’m not giving you a dime.” ‎ ‎The blackmailer stepped closer, their voice dropping to a whisper. “You’re making a mistake, Jonah. I’ve been patient with you, but my patience is wearing thin. If you don’t pay up, I’ll make sure your parents know exactly what kind of man their son is.”

Black Network

"The bribes, the kickbacks, the shell companies. I want to see his empire bleed ink before I make him bleed blood." "Then shut up and let me work," Noah snapped, turning back to the screen. "I need four hours of dead silence. If a phone rings, we’re all dead. Understood?"

Bound To The Ruthless Alpha

Bound To The Ruthless Alpha

“You want a punishment? Fine. Here’s mine.” My voice cracked on the words, but I didn’t falter, didn’t look away. This was my moment—perhaps the only one I’d ever get—and I wouldn’t waste it. “The Vale pack is forbidden from stepping foot on Blackthorn territory again. You’re not welcome here. Not you, not your wolves, not your banners. Stay out.” The silence that followed was suffocating, absolute, like the moment before lightning strikes. Even the air seemed to still, waiting for the explosion that was sure to come.

Madam Winters’s Fight For Her Children

Madam Winters’s Fight For Her Children

After all, she was the one asking him for a favor. ‘Although most of Elder Maurice’s pawns have been captured, Hestia Border has many parties, and if one is destroyed, another will soon rise.’ Thought Duke. ‘The criminal forces here are endless, and they simply cannot be eliminated in a short period of time.’ He nodded. “Sure.” Mavice smiled and turned to finish whatever she had come here for. What happened on the edge of the Soux River quickly made headlines. [The thirty-year rule of the Black Party is over, and there will be no more Black Party, no more crimes, and no more bloody violence in the world!]

The Wrong Vow, My Perfect Match

The Wrong Vow, My Perfect Match

No one answered immediately. Not Arthur. Not Gabriel. Not Adrian. Not even the man in black. That silence was an answer in itself. Then Adrian spoke quietly. “You don’t say no.” Ama looked up weakly. “What does that mean?” Adrian’s expression tightened. “It means the system doesn’t interpret refusal as final.” A pause. “It interprets it as incomplete understanding.” Gabriel snapped, “That’s not consent!” Adrian didn’t argue. Because he agreed. Arthur stepped forward suddenly.

I mean Cara’s kidnapped, tortured, raped, violated and then is rescued and has a psychotic breakdown then is all of a sudden better and has sex with the phantom. I was assaulted not raped or anything and it took me a year to even start to mentally recover and trust new people

Finally, a really good book. Quite well written, great characters, awesome plot and a nice believable HEA ending. Strong female characters, shaped with respect, as it should be. Very well done, author, worth of my time, gems and money. This is how all mafia related books should be written. 5 stars.

One night with Mr Braxton

One night with Mr Braxton

The others were shell-shocked. A Braxton International blacklist was synonymous with everlasting joblessness. Why? Because no employer in the country accepted a person who has in one way or the other offended the Braxton Empire. Offending a big fish in the industry was something that even big companies eschewed, talking less of little ones.
