No Longer His Little Girl

No Longer His Little Girl

He transferred every share and property under his name into Nora's trust fund. On the day he was discharged, Marcus sent me one final text. "The money is for our daughter. Consider it Mister's last bit of compensation. "I wish you... happiness in your new marriage." The message was sent. A bright red exclamation mark appeared beside it. He had long been blocked. He didn't even have the right to have his blessing received. Three years later, Marcus Doakes was no longer a legend in the domestic business world. Without his drive and without the support of family, his mental state collapsed completely.

Blind to the Fact

Blind to the Fact

Jack immediately frowned and signaled for someone to take her away. His expression turned gloomy. He pulled Gabriel to the front of my car and forced him to kneel. Then, he grabbed a stick, striking Gabriel hard several times until Gabriel collapsed, whimpering in pain. After that, with a humble and servile attitude, he said, “Mr. Cullen, my brother is truly blind. He failed to recognize who you were. Please calm your anger. Jenkins Construction will cover any damages today. We’ll even buy you a better car.” “If one car isn’t enough, we’ll buy ten. Even a hundred of them. Whatever it takes to earn your forgiveness!

She followed closely behind him and the two disappeared into the forest. "Did you notice?" Weaver asked and Alex nodded. "Her brother is blind. That's probably why she thought it best to talk it out." Alex said and Weaver nodded. "Don't tell the others about the male being blind. It'll provoke some of the others to try and run him off." Alex said and Weaver nodded in understanding. "I'll take a group to start setting up markers upon our new territory." Wever said and Alex nodded wondering how someone who couldn't see had survived this long. He had help from his sister but he didn't seem to rely on her. . . .

Jilted Heiress Strikes Back

Jilted Heiress Strikes Back

Silence fell for a moment. Then Leif chuckled softly and said, “I don’t mind.” Raina turned to him sharply, eyes widening. “What?” Leif also turned toward her, once again facing her exact direction. With a small smile, he said, “Even if I have to be blind forever, I honestly don’t mind.” Raina’s throat tightened. Her hands clenched into fists as she stared at him and said quietly, “But… I mind.” ***

Cursed by the Gods: Rise of Phoenix

Cursed by the Gods: Rise of Phoenix

“Do you really intend to give up your godhood?” “Once Helena is found I will give up my godhood if that’s what it takes to be with her.” “And she will give up hers too?” “I can only hope she agrees.” Just then a small figure bumped into him. He reached out to help the person clad in a black gown embroidered with gold and a scarf of the same material. A shock that started from his fingers ran through his body almost lifting him off his feet. As the small figure picked herself up, her companion helped her to dust her clothes free of dirt. But when the companion turned eyes upwards at him he realized she was blind. Blind? No, she wasn’t exactly blind, she knew where he stood and she was looking

Falling For The Blind Billionaire (Book 1)

Chiara asks. "Yes, it's true, whatever you heard was true," she replies. "And his sight has not been restored, no doctor could help him, so it's permanent. He is blind forever and Lorenzo and Diego will be in charge of everything," She concluded. "Poor thing," Chiara wince. "But that means he's the one that will be interviewing today right?" she asks. "Because I will love to see how handsome he is, too bad that he would not be able to see a beautiful lady like me," she frowns.

Fairies & Humans

Fairies & Humans

His single yellow eye was glowing brightly back, it was crazy. "Why are my eyes glowing?" I sighed to him and he grins. "It's your interest shining, I'm very flattered," he smiles and squeezes my hand. So all those times his single eye glowed, I sigh. "Is your other eye gone?" I asked curiously. He pursed his lips and he got distant. I frowned and turned to him. "I'm sorry for mentioning it," I sigh. "No it's okay, no one has asked about that before, my eye is there but white with blindness," he mumbles.

Great storyline! Love the characters... Laughed, cried, got angry... some parts were too drawn out others too short. A few grammatical errors, but overall a truly great read!!! Definitely would recommend it to others!

I really love this book. Huge character maturity over time. Unique story for this platform. You will fall in love with the characters and may even gain a new "book boyfriend" out of the read. The book is not short, but that makes it better to follow the roller-coaster love story. Great job, author!

Wingless and Beautiful

Wingless and Beautiful

I heard the trace of anger and frustration in his smooth voice. He settled me on my feet and I pulled away from him. “I’m sorry,” I said. “I wasn’t… looking.” “Neither was I,” he muttered. “But unlike you… I didn’t really have a choice.” “What…” I started asking. Then I remembered him saying something about being blind. “Oh. You’re… blind?” I asked. He raised a brow again. “And you’re deaf?” Okay. He’s arrogant too! But as he went down on his knees to feel the ground for the walking stick that he dropped when he collided into me, I couldn’t help feeling sorry for him. I immediately bent down and reached for the stick to help him.

Wow, truly beautiful story. Started out fast and kept improving. Cried a lot in the beginning (had to pause until I calmed down). Also, laughed at times. The characters were very mature and I’m glad Hunter and Alice were able to overcome the trauma in their lives. Well written. Worth reading.
