One Luna, Four Alphas

One Luna, Four Alphas

“Look at your glasses, nerd. So dusty. How do you see through this thing?“ Before I can say 'Jack', he takes off my glasses and spats on each eye. His saliva rolls to all sides of it. “There, much better,“ He smirks, and puts back the glasses on my face, “Try not to bump into random guys. I'll be seeing you soon. And don't forget, you owe me a pussy,” He pats my shoulder and walks away, taking with him his overwhelming aura. I release my pent-up breath and a tear drops from my eyes. I take off the glass and wipe off the saliva with my dress. Gross, I know, but I have nothing else to wipe it off with.

I’m sorry. I gave up on this book. It was all over the place. Names mixed up. Events changed from what we previously read in a prior chapter. There is an entire chapter completely unrelated to anything about this book. It doesn’t flow. It doesn’t seem to go anywhere. Refund would be nice…

Beyond Fate

Beyond Fate

There was no grass, only dust stretching as far as the eye could see. “What happened here?” he muttered to himself. “This is your future,” a voice responded. Seth spun around, only to find himself staring at… himself. He saw himself, but not the man he was now. This version of himself wore a leather eye patch over one eye, and his body was covered with scars, scrapes, and bruises. His clothes were tattered armor—knee pads and shoulder pads—protecting him from the harsh environment. The man before him was a version of Seth from the future, a version that had seen more pain and suffering than Seth could ever imagine.

The Woman He Broke

The Woman He Broke

“No, no, no. You don’t need these. Your vision is fine without them. Besides, they make you look… older.” I blinked, feeling oddly exposed. “But—can I at least keep them on until we meet Mago?” I pleaded, clutching at the last piece of my comfort zone. “People aren’t used to seeing me without them. If I look good without my glasses, I want him to be the first to see me.” Patricia paused, considering my words. “Fine,” she relented with a sigh. “But after that? No more glasses. If you want Mago to notice you, we have to go all in.”

The characters fo feel real and, in particular, torn between innocence and longing. The story is well presented. It was quick and appealing reading, and I like how the book brings out dangers in following your heart.

I loved this story because of how it portrayed the women being strong despite the hardship and the pain cause by the love, I would really recommend this to those people who loves reading this type of genre/story :)

But that sounded too blunt so I tried to cover it up "I didn't mean for it to sound like that, I'm just curious as to how everything would look without your glasses" "Before it used to be hazy, but now it's clearer thanks to my glasses" he says and I nod before taking out his glasses. Then I held up three fingers in his face. "Anna what are-" "-How many fingers am I holding up?" I cut him off. He sighed before saying "Three" causing me to cheer. "Can I have my glasses back now?" He asked and I put it back on his face. "Thanks" he says giving me a look I didn't quite recognize.

The Woman He Never Wanted

The Woman He Never Wanted

She engulfed me in an embrace, once again, releasing me with an anxious look on her face. " I can't tell you anything right now. Let's meet up tomorrow and please do not tell anyone about meeting me here" I pleaded, holding her hands in mine. She staggered, giving me a 'What the hell is going on? ' expression and then whispered an " Okay" to me before getting started on the facial makeup, which took a few minutes. Then she got curious again. " Where is your glasses? , I thought you couldn't see without them" Frustrated, I interlocked my arms " I left it at home and for fuck sake, I have a contact lens on and that enables me to see without it. Would you please let this be the last question yo

Without My Colored Glass Wings

Without My Colored Glass Wings

Chapter 3- A Perfect Day Drrrrr! Crash! Bang! Melo was awoken by crashing and banging happening outside his room. What kind of ruckus is happening? He thought to himself. He slightly opened his eyes but all he saw were the lights peeking through his window blinds, beaming across the room. He scooted to the other side of the bed, facing his big glass window that is covered with white blinds. Then, he slipped two of his fingers in between the blinds and allowed just the right amount of light to pass through.

Unexpected Future

Unexpected Future

*Swathi Pov* “Water!” I heard the voice and immediately moved from my bed to fill the glass fuming inside with frustration. “Here!” I said, walking near the person who had just his hand in a cast, but have perfect legs, which he can’t use or just decided not to use. “Go ahead!” he said not even glancing at me, but typing something on his mobile with his good hand while keeping the device on his lap. I would love to go ahead and throw this on that phone which he can use with the hand, but not to hold the glass and drink.

FACELESS FUTURE

FACELESS FUTURE

He changed from a suit to a brown round-neck polo with blue stock jeans and a pair of shoes. He went to the door, "Stubborn cat, you are grounded here till when you will learn your lesson, if you want, you can drown or starve yourself, just know it's not my doing," he said. He opened the door with his face by looking at the digital lens attached to it and the door was shut immediately of its own accord.

Still Here for You, My Mate

Still Here for You, My Mate

I said softly, my voice trembling. "Could you take me to the nearest optician? My glasses… they were broken, and I need to buy a new pair." I couldn't make out his features at all. The streetlights were dim, and without my glasses, the world was little more than a shadowy haze. To my surprise, he didn't move. He didn't speak. He didn't leave. Just silence… long, unreadable silence. "I'm sorry," I murmured, lowering my head. "I didn't mean to bother you."
