No Longer Human Book Novels & Stories

Novel's POV It had been two days since I left Alexei's house. I missed my time there; it was fun, and I got to spend quality time with him, even if he was always busy. I was browsing through my phone when I came across an article. The title read: The Human Animals. “What a funny title,” I laughed, but my curiosity made me click anyway. It featured a picture of a creature that looked half-wolf and half-human. “Interesting,” I said to myself as I read the text:

Just when I thought everything was finally turning around, an unknown number called. "Vivian, what the fuck are you playing at?" Enzo's voice. Furious, out of control, and drunk. "You ditch the family's business to run off to the West Coast? You think you can just run away from your problems?" My hand trembled, but my voice remained steady. "You have the wrong number." "Don't play dumb with me, Vivian," he sneered. "I know it's you. Do you have any idea what a mess these books are without you?"

“But I promise you, this will make things easier.” And with that, I’m gone once more. This time, it seems like I’ll be gone forever. There are no more moments where I’m awake and aware. It’s just a whole sea of… nothing. No sound, no sensation. The only thing I can be sure of right now is I’m in a different place. A place where Roman and August talk about Humans like they aren’t ones. And I’m starting to believe that maybe, they really aren’t ones. * *

I tried to pull my hand away, unable to stand how cold it was but he wouldn't budge. " Y-Your hand is cold," I told him and he let my hand go like I burned him. I took my hand back and rubbed my hands together to warm up. He is crazily cold. Im sure he is not human because a human can't be cold like that. " My bad. I forgot you are human now," he says confusing me more. What did he even mean by that? I couldn't help but his presence made me feel uneasy. I wanted to leave but I wasn't going to make the first move so I hope he left instead. I wanted Blake to be by my side so badly. Then this creep wouldn't have taken the liberty to approach me.

But for me, they were history. Sighing, I stepped back from the bookshelves. My mind raced through thought after thought, trying to figure out how we had come so far, yet everything still seemed so much the same. Even after two hundred years of living in peace and obscurity, humans wanted to eradicate us. I shook my head and turned my back to the books that were begging to be picked up and explored. The moment I opened the door, I caught Bartholomew, his beady eyes boring into me like hot pokers.

I narrow my eyes as I look at him. He’s got to be messing with me, right? But, no. Puma looks genuinely confused. “It’s a book. And a movie.” “Ah,” he drawls out. “We don’t really like human entertainment.” “You guys have books and TV though, right?” He nods. “We just have our own shows and stories.” That’s… kind of cool, actually. A whole new world of books and movies to explore. Though, something tells me I won’t be having much time to do things like that with these guys around. They’re far more entertaining than anything I could watch on TV.

Hyun said. Cela's phone starts to ring even before she could ask what Lora's call is about. Hyun went to the buffet table feeling better. "Are you feeling okay now, Sir Hyun?" someone from the team asked. "Never been better," he answered while looking at Cela who's now talking excitedly on the phone. "What's happening? I think something unusual is going on," another member of the team said. I guess we all know what it is about. Fourth book?

Sam's pov It's Rilly and Maggie, I could hear their voices. I was wondering what was going on when I heard Rilly say no party, big on texting. That made me happy, I could not hold back any longer,I let out a loud and long howl, not being able to wait until I get to see Rilly again. Good thing this room is sound proof and warlock proof. I can't wait to text Rilly when I change back, I think that's what I'm going to do as soon as I change back, well maybe I'll shower first.
