No One Left To Come Looking For You Novels & Stories

He didn't know I was right above him, watching him fall apart, watching him cry. And I couldn't even cry anymore. A full day and night passed. Reports came back one after another. They found nothing in the city, nothing in Josselville, and nothing in my hometown. No one had seen me. The last place I existed was that quiet street corner under the dim streetlight. That night, Liam dragged himself back there. He stood beneath the light and looked up at the moon. After a long pause, something in him seemed to settle. Slowly, he raised his hand. His thumb and index finger came together, forming a small circle.

"Nothing." Sebastian frowned. "What do you mean, nothing?" "I checked every room. No one." The blood drained slowly from Zara's face. "That's impossible." Sebastian looked toward the hallway, the photograph still glowing faintly in his other hand. Whoever had taken it had been standing close enough to catch both of them in frame. And yet the apartment was empty. His phone buzzed again in his palm. He looked down. Another message. “You keep looking for me in the wrong places.”

After trying more than five times, she gave him the phone and said, "thanks a lot. It seems he is not close to his phone." As the assistant left, Christy contemplated sending Angelo a text message but decided against it. There was no guarantee that he was going to see the message. After thinking for a while, she decided to go to his house and talk to him in person. Steve arrived at the bar and looked around but couldn't find Isabella. He received Christy's call while he was still searching for her. "Where are you now? Christy asked. "I'm at the bar" Steve replied. "The problem now is that I have searched all around for Isabella but it seems she is not here."

Then, I apologized and left. With the last ten dollars in my pocket, I went to the pharmacy and then headed home. Upon returning home, I went to my grandfather's room, picked up his photo, and held it close. "Grandpa, I'm sorry. I couldn't live the way you wanted. "You said that if I like someone, I should boldly pursue him without leaving any regrets. "But, Grandpa, it's been so tiring for me to keep pursuing, and I've given up. "Can I come over to your side to keep you company, Grandpa? If I don’t hear a reply from you, I’ll consider your silence as consent."

The room was silent. It had been that way for about three hours. Everyone was present in Bella's living room waiting for Sophia's call. Jeremy has been gone for more than twelve hours and with no where to start, they were earnestly waiting for the kidnapper to call and place their demands. "Why won't she call already?" Bella was angry and getting frustrated. She just paced round the living room. "I sware, if anything happens to me son, I'll hunt Sophia down" She cursed angrily.

That is no matter though, because when they find me, I will be waiting. I after all, have nothing left to lose. ~~~ The End!

He only tried to look at it via the model number and purchasers for that model but did not find it. He then made his way to Tessa Johnson’s place. It was best to get the complete information before jumping into it. Tessa was equally relieved and worried when she saw him. “Why are you alone? Where’s Rosy?” “She is gone,” William said, almost painfully.

“Nothing but dead air.” Brody pulled his phone back out and walked around the room holding it out in front of him. “Dead zone.” Stuffing it back in his pocket he stood there with his hands on his hips and looked at the floor. Even the floor was the polished metal. “They’ll come looking for us if too much time passes and they haven’t heard from us.” “That won’t help them find us.” Moving over to the wall, she started walking along it sideways feeling over it.

I AM SO FUCKING USELESS AND INCOMPETENT. I had one job, yet I failed even before I tried. I swore to protect her with my life, swore to make sure she lives happily with or without me, but I can't find her. She left no trace, no scent, and no track for me to follow. It's almost like she has vanished from the surface of the earth. It’s like she's making it impossible for me to find her. Someone must have gotten to her before me.

And I am not looking for a savior. I close my eyes. Crack eighty-four. The Wildcard is tamed. One down. Two to go.
